I have an older Janome and I know you have a new one. I noticed that you use the universal foot I think when you’re doing your quilt binding? I find I always have to use a walking foot and wondered what you do differently. Thanks!

I've started to use my accuflex/walking foot more now with binding, especially with minky. I used to have to pull it a little to get it not to bunch, but now using that more on my new machine (and on my old one ad well) it has gone a lot better!

@@terriblyradhow do you do a 1/4” seam with the binding with your walking foot? I’m still trying to figure that out on my newish Janome,

​@@michaelandeileenkilloran8310 with my standard walking foot, i would follow the seam guide on my throat plate or just line up my foot with the edge of my fabric (it would be roughly 3/8ths I think when I did that) on my current machine, one of the accuflex feet (higher tech walking foot) has the skinny side that is 1/4" by itself so I just line that up and go
