It's the X-men: Days of Future Past version of time travel. You get sent back in time for the same length of time your friends exist in the present and only when you return to the present do all the changes take effect and a new timeline is generated.

Did you also like "Dead Again"? Has similar psychological elements and working backwards. I hadn't heard of this series of games. I am going to have to look into it. I love several of the inductive puzzle games. Thanks for the review.

Never saw "Dead Again", but give this short description, I'll have to look for it on Netflix or wherever. -WEM

@@boardgamegeek I think it is one of Robin Williams best bit parts.and the Hitchcock influences are fabulous.

I've just finished playing this, and come the end I just couldn't see the reason for it. The 13 points in time were so completely random, and so little information was given (when you were allowed to read it), that I found it impossible to piece together even a loose framework of a story. In the end it seemed like I was picking an A, B or C option with absolutely no idea why, and then you end up with no resolution!! Hugely disappointing and a complete waste of time. It literally took longer to set up than to play! Don't throw your money away on this, it is simply not worth it.

I have all three of these can you play these solo?

You can, but I think you'd miss out to some degree in the co-operative experience of deciphering what the story might be. In all three of my games, with two different groups, everyone participated to some degree in piecing together what was happening. Maybe you'd just find that experience chaotic, though, and would prefer the solo approach. Hard to say since you know your tastes better than I do! -WEM
