Thanks for sharing!! I love the way you go around all the food at the buffet! Can't believe they have the smoking area beside the kids are too. I will have a 7 yrs old with me . Might have to avoid that area. What do you mean by the North Star not working? I will be in the boat in sep, will it be working then?

The North Star was not operational on our cruise (neither was the robot bar). It was to be fixed when Quantum entered dry dock. Not sure if that happened yet. Our cruise was last August so it has probably been fixed since then, at least I would hope so!

North Star has been out of action since June/July last year and won't be fixed until dry dock in October/November this year so it won't be fixed in September. I know this because we did the transpacific from Australia in April and that is what we were told. It will be going to Singapore after the Alaska season for dry dock and then returning to Brisbane later in the year than normal, think it gets here in early December. As for the smoking area it isn't next to the kids pool area, it is further up near the doors into the indoor pool

Online before the cruise. I believe it was at checkin, they force you to watch the video before you can finish checking in so they know you have watched it.
