Our people were so stylish & dignified... I seen afew all black movies from the 30's & 40's, true treasures.And I hope to see more...this is a testimony of how resilient,brilliant & creative our people were & still are. This was produce during the height of the Jim Crow area & picnic lynching days...and our people did things on our own. Just think about that for a minute.Amazing!

I only remember Moms Mabley as an old toothless comedian. She was beautiful when she was young!
