0:45 born and raised in Atlantic city. Its a weirdly unique environment. Its like Miami, and Las Vegas had a baby, didn't treat it right, and the baby grew up to be a little fucked up. My family has been in AC for a couple hundred years too. I've never seen this show, but at some point i will.

Yea, anyone that saw what the folks in ww1 saw would have PTSD. That was tha last war where they just kinda ran at each other and shot. Ww2 seems like it was more tactical than 1 to me. Gas attacks, storming trenches, barbed wire everywhere. Although I couldn't imagine what the folks in the camps went through in ww2

Anyone who fought in the trenches during WW1 had PTSD. Read about "shell shock." They would drop artillery on the opposition for days at a time. Then there was the mustard gas and barbed wire and machine guns, much of wish the Americans weren't ready for when they got there.

Richard Harrow is a true man of honor. Thats why he spared Nuckys life. They took him in (to protect the family) and Nucky was good for him. He killed Manny because he was not just one of the guys who was responsible for jimmys dead, but also jimmys wife. He loved those two.

This is just my opinion, which ain't worth squat. To me Jimmy is one of the worst characters in the series, I want to fast forward through his parts, but I did not. Mopey, not to bright, and seems like a zombie in a world he not function on any level. He should of just been Nucky's driver, and just drive a car, maybe he could handle that. He never comes off as wise,tough or quick witted, but slow,dull and meandering. He was right in saying he died in the war. Now honestly, I tried to like jimmy, but just unlikable to me. I think the actors poor forced accent had much to do with him sounding like a low IQ gangster, in real life the Jimmie in the show would never been allowed on Princeton's steps with that back street vernacular. I just don't like Jimmy on any level.
