Boat Camping on Matagorda Island Texas on a Windrider 17

Sailing to Army Hole. An abandoned WW II Army Air Core Base in the Gulf of Mexico. Spending 2 nights with no facilities. No power, bathrooms or running water. 40 MPH + winds over night toppling tents and banging up boats. Rescuing stranded boaters. Catching Red Fish and cooking over the fire. The annual "Army Holers" Sailing trip with the Texas 22 Sailing Club.
