Great video. Lovely set up on the alaska, could you just use a normal 6ft pulley like you would off the shore especially being in so close?

Hi mate, yes it's a lovely sized boat. There isn't any point in useing a pulley as a pulley rig is pulley design for useing on the beach. Pulley rigs are designed to pull straight when you hook a fish to try and stop your lead catching the bottom when reeling in. So when on a boat you line is vertical, so a runner ledger is all you need for this type of fishing. Hope that helps

Yea it's quite tough at times, the channel is currently way too clear and it's putting the fish off the feed and their also feeding more on naturals like those mackerel and Sandeels

They can be one of the most fun types of fishing when it's good in my opinion. Easy, cost effective and results in some great bait and food
