I find it funny how Egyptians network so extensively. For instance, you hired one man to take you to the beach and he instantly calls others who get involved in the transaction. I met an Egyptian who did something similar. He got his brother to take me in his truck to Giza and once in Giza I had a problem with my cell phone, so he got his cousin who knows about cell phones to help me. Then I was hungry and I gave him a little bit of money and he got some friends to buy roasted chicken. It was just endless. It seems that anything you want, they know someone who can help! They really know how to hustle! LOL

I visited Egypt in November 1975. At the time there wasn't many American tourists around. I met a German guy who had once been a Stuka pilot and he'd been shot down in Russia and so he ended up in Italy 🇮🇹, fighting the British at Monte Casino and was captured and spent a couple of years as a prisoner of war in Egypt🇪🇬. Everywhere that he and I went the Egyptians whom we met embraced him and spoke highly of the Afrika Korps and of the German Army. The Germans are loved in Egypt 🇪🇬. I really enjoy your videos.

Go but plan ahead seriously. The pyramids are worth it not the people. Yes, they will scam you , rip you off and try to take advantage of you left and right. Even the paid tour guide and agency they all have prearranged places and prices but as long as you say no they won't push you around like the street scammers. If you ever decide to buy something never pay full price but 60 percent less, if not just walk away.

Love your videos. I went for a dip in Rockport Texas once. I stepped on something that cut up my foot VERY BAD! Lost a lot of blood and got about 20 stitches. Took at least 6 months to get back to normal. The doctor said if this had happened 1 or 2 months later in the year I probably would have had to have my foot amputated due to flesh eating disease in the water. I will NEVER go barefoot in the water again. Still creeps me out thinking about it. Hailing from Carlsbad New Mexico.
