@@abrar2240 Hahaha what he said was stupid . I dont think scammers vcare where are you from . As long as you are a tourist they can rip you off. However as an Egyptian myself its a part of our culture to ask where a guy is from . I cant explain it accurately but i guess you get my point . Generally when we see someone that doesnt look Egyptian we always ask them where they are from
@Slipknlov3 жыл бұрын
@@poro167 Do you get many tourists in egypt? In my culture, it seems like it's not too common for people to ask eachother where they are from, unless they are trying to say they notice good-looking DNA genes in a person, sort of as a compliment. But foreigners of all different types are everywhere, where i am from. So i'm thinking, maybe it's because foreigners are not as common where you are from, so therefore, it's natural to identify them and build a connection by asking background. Could be? :D Cheers
@poro1673 жыл бұрын
@@Slipknlov Yeah you are spot on . Unlike many countries in Europe , there arent really a lot of people who migrate to Egypt . So foreigners are kind a rare sight . So people are amazed when they see one and asking him where he is from is the first thing that comes to their mind .

When I went to India and the first week my stomach was getting upset from the food. The local told me it was because all American food is processed and all of theirs was basically farm to table food. Stomach had to get adjusted to real food. After about two weeks I was good and eating from the street vendors with no problems. Maybe they were right.

Yeah or the reason are more likely the whole diarrhea bacterias and whatsoever. In Egypt you better don´t drink/eat anything that was in touch with their tab water. I believe the same applies to India.

Another great video Kurt and good haggling skills. So to explain the pickles you ate, they are a typical Egyptian side dish in many restaurants and street food stalls. They are called (Turshee) and consist of carrots, turnip, pepper and sometimes lemon or baby aubergine. Its also one of my favorites.
