I'm redoing an old 1972 Starcraft 16 deep V. I love how you've moved your your jack back away from the front. That solves a lot of my drainage problems. Im putting a 2 foot anchor pulpit so that frees up a lot of space for me.👍🥰🌹

I have a 03 Ranger 185VS. I just ust showed this video to a small welding company in my area and the guy told me it’ll be about $1200 to make..😮 I didn’t say I wanted it gold plated.

That's crazy, there's two or three companies that make them anywhere from 3 to 500. I saw them on a few vids and just copied what's already available on the market.

I would add a brace to the top winch area like you did the bottom for strength

Check out the finished version in my other video. They are super rigid and no need for additional bracing.

I think it is too close to the boat. You are I. Danger of hitting it. Other than that, it looks great but do trim that bottom end as high up as you can. Nice werk!

@colindawson4059 I do not because of size and weight. Shipping would be horrendous. There are companies that sell them though . No one wants to spend 450.00 on a set, but they really are worth it vs climbing over the side if you can't build your own.
