Outboards with double the fuel consumption vs the diesel inboards and visually they look tiny on bigger boats.

They should offer it with a pair of Ilmor 7.4's for those who want the better performance. Would be faster than the triple 300's, with a fuel consumption between the diesels and outboards. Alternatively twin 500R's instead of the triple 300's.

I just saw the Schaefer 387 out at west palm beach, I loved the design and the cabin layout but I thought the build quality was severely lacking. I think they need a few years in the US market to do some quality control and make some changes to their materials they use.

There is no Schaefer 387. Maybe you are thinking of the Hanover 387?

Perhaps you’re talking about the Hanover 387? It’s a fine boat. The Schaefer 375 is very high quality - similar to Galeon 375 or SeaRay Sundancer 370 at a much better value

It looks nice but I wouldn't have wanted to be in the water close to the boat with all the sand stirred up in the water; the water was no longer pristine. Just the same, it looks like fun.
