I grew up with Rod Roddy as the announcer in the 80s and 90s, his enthusiasm and flamboyant style are so memorable to me. His death was so tragic, being a rare victim of male breast cancer. Never take your life and health for granted, folks. RIP Rod Roddy, forever missed.

I also grew up during the Rod Roddy era in the 90's up until his death in 03. When he passed away I thought Bob was going to retire in late 2003. The 2 of them were in sync and made it really entertaining for everyone. Honestly the show went to hell from 2004 on even before Drew Carey took over.
