As I tell my bride of 50 years. Bob Dylan is the poet laureate of all of us who lived and loved in the ‘60s. He wrote the most perfect poems that he just happened to turn into some of the greatest songs ever composed. Listen to his words. They are beautiful.

Kathy,. I lost my Mom 9 years ago and took care of my Dad till he passed last year. The pain in my heart for my Mom and Dad feels unbearable at times. Certain music, pictures, and even food, will bring me back to the carefree loving days. I don't think any of this will go away, I think we learn how to deal with it better as time goes on. I will never be the same, but I try to find gratitude each day for something, if it's raining I say, the flowers need the rain! I'm sure your Mom is missing you too, blessed be the time, till you see each other again. ❤️☮️❤️🎶

MARY!! You Have Found a Kindred spirit - I LOVE BOB's Voice TOO!! If he Only WROTE ALL Those Songs & Got Someone With a 'Beautiful" &/or a "Trained" Voice - 2Sing Those Songs FOR Him - IT WOULD NOT HAVE Created the Same Amount of IMPACT & MEANING IN Those Songs!! Not BETTER at ALL- REALLY It'd have BEEN WORSE & Therefore CHANGE the World of MUSIC & Even MORE IMPORTANT - THE WORLD ITSELF! If He Had not Been Here & Been Himself - I KNOW I Would NOT B The SAME! The STONES & BEATLES WOULD BE DIFFERENT (Let THAT Trickle down & Think How MUCH it would affect Music - 2BECOME Something Considerably LESS Than what it IS!!)! - BOB DYLAN DESERVED(S)that Nobel PRIZE!! STILL, It Was THAT VOICE That Made HIS SONGS Be LOVED - & BOUGHT By Tens of Millions(Hundreds of Millions NOW?) & Been HEARD - BILLIONS OF TIMES! - Be Like Bob - Just Be REAL & Be YOURSELF - That Way You Can B Happy for those that LOVE & Appreciate YOU - & not Give A DAMN about those who DON'T - & Be Able 2SMILE - ALL THE WAY THRU!! - Take Care - STAY HEALTHY - AND HAPPY TOO!!✌❤🌻🎶👍

I prefer Bob's earlier singing voice, before his motorcycle accident, but it didn't take long to warm up to the change. His writing, singing and Bob himself are certainly unique. He's given us folk, protest, folk-rock, rock, historical, biographical, religious and his brand of country and has scored direct hits with each genre. While not really being able to tell it from Bob's own records, he's backed others with some fine harmonica playing. Dylan is an American classic and treasure whether you like all of his music or not.

What a wonderful thing to see Springsteen playing a great song with his musical idol, Bob Dylan. I still love that joke about Dylan and James Brown making a baby and how they left him at the New Jersey Turnpike and named him Bruce Springsteen. I think John Fogerty's blood got mixed in as well. I know Dylan is a Bruce fan, and Fogerty is a MASSIVE Bruce fan. I wonder if James Brown ever got to see Bruce. Especially after Sam Moore said in an interview that James Brown wasn't the hardest working man in show business, that that man was Bruce Springsteen. Regardless of your views, it's rather obvious that what made Bruce a sensation was that he combined the lyrical depth of Dylan with the live performance capabilities of James Brown and other great soul singers like Otis Redding. Now I am not saying that Bruce is as good of a lyricist as Bob and is as good of a stage performer as Brown was, but that combination had not been seen in rock and roll music until Bruce hit his stride in the 70's. Especially on the "Darkness" and "River" tours. Other frontmen or frontwomen may have attempted the combination, but they couldn't match Bruce's intensity on both ends.

How could He Not. Bob Dylan is SO INCREDIBLY GIFTED & CERTAINLY Inspired Springsteen in HIS Youth. - Whenever someone says "Bob Dosen't have a Good Singing Voice" - I Say - "His voice Is BEAUTIFUL - Because it is REAL - & HE "OWNS" IT (Metaphorically & Physicaly)!! & Never SET HIM BACK!!"! A Genius like NO Other - & Singing THAT Song With Bruce Worked REALLY WELL! Thank You 👍🎶✌!!
