Nope Lukas puts passion into everything he does. And I'm positive that this Teddy Swims didn't learn his vocal phrasing from Bob Dylan ( Lukas joined his dad's band at 13 and played the coheadline tour of Willie and Bob at 14. Bob asked him to join his band at 16.) I'm sure he does a decent cover but my Lukas and this song hold a special place in my heart.

This was 5 years ago and I am only hearing it now June 2020. Even then, you have the capacity to reach deep down within yourself and find the emotions needed to perform and express this song. This only comes from self awareness and experience and your ability to connect the two. Bob Dylan's version is a classic, but you brought this alive. I always thought that Adele was the making of this song, wrong.....without a doubt Lukas Nelson reinvents it beautifully. You should record it today in this lockdown era and see if you can bring it up a notch. I'd love to hear it.

I just found Jakob during these Covid times & he's helped me get thru things tremendously. I felt like I discovered Dylan waaay back myself - not knowing he'd been a star for quite a long time, and now I almost feel the same about Jakob. lol
