This is a good man. He really nailed it about losing love and the emptiness that accompanies the loss of love. It never truly goes away completely. Loving differently happens in time...and that helps smooth things out but not ever the same...such a kind man. A great father, to his credit! I really like this amazing amazing man and wish only good things to his happiness from now on.

fat bob geldof, did more harm than good. he was down the dumper had no money pop career failing. saw a news report. and the lightbulb flashed obver his head. how can i pretend to help the starving in africa and make millions myself. a ha he thought get the poor people of britain to donate straight to my pocket. ill no only become a hero and sir bob but ill gain 300 million in the process. and he didnt pay a penny from his own pocket to help the starving in africa or anywhere else. all the pop stars that took part in live aid, all got more sales from being part of it. he used the poor and starving in africa to his advantage. hes a joke a evil human being, he also had michael hutchence bumped off. and still with all his millions now he never sends any money to africa or gives any to the poor. midge ure did band aid bob took the credit. bob now hates the band aid single do they know its christmas, and the reason being because of the continues sales each christmas that he doesnt get a penny from. like mariah carey her christmas single all i want for christmas earns her millions still. and bob cant stand the fact that he gets nothing from the band aid single. a nasty nasty evil person bob geldof the parasite.

What an amazing thoughtful insight to the pain he was feeling. I'm sure those of us that lose that "great love" can understand the words he says. I don't think it's just about plugging new music, I really think his interview was also a way of connecting and saying I might have this fame, money and everything else - but I still hurt and feel pain when my hearts been broken. Well done Bob. And you're right. "Without Love in your life - it's meaningless"

I recall Paula originally blamed Bob for his suicide. The night of Nov 22, she told reporters “they call him St. Bob but that's a joke. Michael obviously flipped out he was worn down by 3 years of torture”. Author Lovegrove, interviewed many who knew Paula and Michael, and found that Paula was telling friends Michael was on edge and had threatened suicide in his final year just weeks before his departure from London. Read the "Police Statement of Paula yates" she and Belinda talk about the problems Bob caused. lt was rumored that the reasons Paula later change to the sex game story as for money and because Bob threaten a slander suit for her calling him a murdered n the press - which dispite how Paula felt - it is technically slander.

Bob, by 0:27 I understood you. The thing is, we always have love in our lives, whether we recognise it or not. ego wants a certain love, when we lose that, ego twists up inside... there is still love around us , but we're consumed by the idea of the love we want to experience and push other unconditional love away while searching for the one unconditional love we seek for ourselves. I'll press play again and listen to the remaining 4.5 minutes, cos Bob do has valid pointses to makes.

ok, I'm at 2:38 the tears have begun to well up in my eyes, and have been for some seconds of viewing. I realise, yet again, that I'm still in love with my ex wife, even though she hurt me badly, and I probably hurt her badly, she hurt herself badly. SHe's with someone else and Iv'e both let go of her yet not let go of my investment in her. I hope she's found the peace and happiness we both wanted... I have yet to find it, and doubt I ever really will... at least not in this life. I don't believe that love ever dies, love is a force that transcends human understanding. So my ex wife must have some love for me, I'm sure I've seen it... I've let go, but not let go.... moved on, but not moved on. This is the way I like it, the way I don't like it. LIMBO!

how can I really let any one else in, when I let that one person in already? I wasn't goood enough for her, or anyone else, I accept that. s o why bother for a 2nd go? the 2nd go seems absurd to me. the 2nd go, it'll always be second best. Jenny never wanted to be 2nd best, and, boy did I love her, I didn't want her to be 2nd best either. Jenny was amazing. I just wasn't the right guy. same with Caire, Diane, Kath, Sharon. and the woman I married before meeting the others...Donna. you all taught ,me something, but I'm too messed up and pissed up to even wanna be with a wman again. my fault. oh well....................they say it's better to have loved and lost... thank you, beautiful ladies.

Saint Bob? Bob IS a saint, if not way back when then he is now. Who would be so generous as to take in the child of his ex wife and her lover, despite the tabloid horror story that his life became because of it? And I'm happy that Bob is the custodial parent, as both Michael's parents have since passed away and she should be with her half sisters and the father who was here to love her, which is Bob.

The comments are hateful for a good reason, you shld do your research, good or bad, before trashing another persons opinion. I'm not even sure that you planned to leave a comment regarding Bob's interview, but you were quick to judge the other persons opinion! One thing I know FOR SURE!!! None of them were thinking of YOU as they typed in their opinion. Maybe you should try the basic's!! (In this case) there are two guys, one asking questions and one answering them, then "You Tube" asks if we (the ppl listening to this) have a comment or opinion about the interview! Not how you feel about the opinions others left behind. I know it comes as a shock but, no one gives a rats ass on how you feel or don't feel about their opinion!

Disagree. It's not that simple. What is factual is that Bob wasn't being unrealistic but realistic. He was in love after all these years and it was a painful realisation when Paula didn't feel the same anymore. The pain and heart wrenching in your heart , face and soul reality is the rejection and utter abandonment that is felt. If it were the other way round Paula may have suffered the same fate!?? Unless you've been in that position your experience will be different. I can equate completely with Bob. He speaks from the heart and to speak from the depths of your soul about a gut wrenching experience is back to the old adage, "it's good to talk." The more you talk about your pain and sharing it is undoubtedly a beautiful and integral part of the healing process. I have no blame for the people involved in this very tragic and real situation. It wasn't the best platform. Media intrusion. Falsehoods. Children . Drugs and baggaged human beings who are flawed as we all are! The years of rolled by and now I'm older I understand and accept that shit happens. Realistically, Michael was troubled before he met Paula and struggled with the reality of his life and fame. Paula had BEEN known to have a complex and intrinsically chequered life. Bob had a lonesome but equally eventful upbringing. Each were successful in their own right. But like many relationships, theirs too had run its course. The media was in full flow which added more fuel to the fire. As is well docummented , their marriage was up to intense scrutiny and pressure with no let up. Not at any time were the children's welfare considered by the media except to cast non concrete aspirtions , the public started jumping on the band wagon too. Taking sides and apportioning blame when the did not nor will ever know what really happened! NON OF OUR BUSINESS! Horrendous. Still to this day crude and insensitive comments continue and they remain judged. Paula I feel took the brunt but realistically there were 3 adults who were at the helm! The death of Peaches Geldof was just the next cruelest blow. Unbelievably tragic and still the comments continue to distort and wilfully regurgitate untruths and vilify . A balanced view and will lessons be learned? .....No. Man will continue to destroy man for their own greed and gain. RIP MH. PY. PG. You tried. Michael and your family , the same is wished for you. May Bob Geldof Continue to heal and find that peace and love is rightly restored with his Wife and family. God bless you all. ❤❤❤ 2019 x
