Nice, I got me one coming from Japan soon. It’s such a cool machine even if I don’t get on with it, but I am sure I will! :) nice stage presence by the way, the shirt and tie is a good look for serious equipment such as this!

thanx, mate. th RS7K is as complicated as u want or need it. start with simple things. its actually very intuitive... all that potis at disposal misleads overcomplexity. it just means, you have a poti for every function that needs fingerin' ... /.-)

.. and you shoul get them cheaper in japan.

@@bobhumid Thanks for responding! Yeah I figure it just looks complicated, but the controls are what make it easier to use in the end. Can't really trust all these online thoughts about machines that people probably never even touched, haha... mis-information can get circulated over and over again. I probably didn't get the best price, around $450 I think it was, but it has an original case (bag), ram expanded, and looks like it's great shape from what I could see. Fingers crossed!

It sounds so japanese dirty experimental . I like this. You still think is a good buy on 2023 as a standalone unit maybe pair it up with a tr8 or smth. I dont like keys and daws
@bobhumid Жыл бұрын
Well, thanx! Of course you can and you should. But I don´t see the point in adding a TR-8 since its superloaded with 1000 PCM-sounds and having EQs on three levels in the mixer and three really good stereo-effects as AUXes on each Style (Pattern with adjusted Sounds) gives you the possibility to be free of any drum-machine. Add a small analogue Synth instead. I am currently touring with a IK Multimedia UnoSynth and it al sounds huge now. Perfect addition. The RS7000 has no particular "dirty" spund. It is as fat or clean as you make it, depending on your sounddesign- and mixingskills. But that applies to ALL sampling-workstations! Check my other live-performed track, it carries some pre-produced stems and some decent EQ-ing, but I did NOT remaster anytrhing. The RS7K has a multiband EQ and multiband-comnpressor in the sum. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gX_apoajebCVoqs
