I still remember this like it was yesterday, 15 years later. I saw Miles Brand's press conference at the bowling alley right across from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where I was at for Special Olympics.

Isn’t it ironic that Dave Bliss is shown on this a coach who had a player murder another player then he was recorded basically trying to cover it up like the dead player was a dealer in drugs. You can’t make that up & yet we throw a fit at Bob Knight for anything he does!!!!! Coach Knight is a fine man!!!!!

One thing Coach Knight did was make sure his Players graduated from School. You either Get good grades or you didn't play on his team. Greatest Coach Ever!!!

They hadn't really been the same for most of Knight's last decade. A Final Four, an Elite Eight, and a Sweet 16 in that order in the beginning of the decade. Then 6 straight years of failing to get out of the round of 32.

@@guyjojay What's even more alarming is that he got away with that horrible behavior like that and worse for many years and it's very disgraceful that the powers that be at IU didn't take action and put him in his place sooner due to it not being beneficial to IU to do such a thing. Shame on IU for looking the other way and allowing him to get away with his horrible, classless, and abusive behavior and most of all, shame on Bob Knight for being the incorrigible and disgraceful piece of shit he is. Jon Voight's Coach Bud Kilmer character on Varsity Blues reminds me a lot of Bob Knight.

Knight and his supporters could never take responsibility for anything. Knight was a spoiled brat. He thought he was entitled to his job, no matter what he did. It was long overdue for him to be let go.
