It's almost the end of 2022. Because I have future plans in 2023 and will work on upcoming projects for the Reggae community and Bob's legacy.
I do this since 2015-17 when I was 17-19 years old. And look so much growth I've gotten during my "spirtual journey" and
my passion to research alot of these historical stuff in the archives. And spreading the good sources with support from collectors, fans and historians who I know over the years.
In fact I was planning to share this footage earlier in the month of September.
But during the technical problems with my phone it got postponed.
Here's an amazing quality version of Bob's moment at the Essex House (Manhattan, New York) and his last interview with
Earl Chin from Rockers TV.
This was originally filmed on September 2, 1980. Before the first leg in the US got started in Boston at the (Hynes Auditorium) on the "15th" day of September, what Bob explained to Earl, when he asked him that question. And Bob was doing an accoustic version of "Redemption Song" with so many takes.
Unfortunately, It didn't got the part where Bob was going to greet "Ken Williams" before they were sparring (boxing) together at the Essex House. Alot of laughter and jokes were made by various friends of Bob. Because this is an cut version from that footage.
I will upload a snippet of them together.
The part where the camera crew was making a blooper of Bob was not shown in this clip. I share a link that you can watch that scene where Bob had his "headphone" on while playing "Redemption Song" on a different take.
• Bob Marley - Redemptio...
And Bob got interviewed by Earl by the second time.
Because we've seen that already. Later he played on his accoustic guitar and performed a very short portion of his unreleased song "Pray For Me" and later the requested song by Earl named
"Coming In From The Cold" from his "Uprising" album. And that same portion was ever used for the
"Time Will Tell" documantary in 1992.
Featuring: Alvin Seeco Patterson,
Dessie Smith, Copeland Forbes, Earl "Chinna Smith, Junior Marvin, Tyrone Downie, Cindy Breakspeare, Ken Williams and Julia Anderson (Lobby of the Essex Hotel).
This is dedicated to all the Reggae fans of all around the world.
Special thanks to Earl Chin for interviewing The Gong. Rastafari.

Sweet and spicy as always, our beloved iconic singer is obviously weakened by the cancers throughout his body. When he collapsed in NY, Dr’s were astonished he was walking and talking, 2 massive tumors, the size of tennis balls, were in his brain. They gave him 2-4 weeks, but our Bob Marley lived 8 months longer. When I was younger, “Redemption Song” was just a beautiful song, at 65, I’m older and wiser, and know this was his final song for the world. Everyone please watch “One Love” it’s the essence of the man, his family and music. The first 3 times watching, I cried, but last night, got through the 4th time, without as many tears. May this man be resting in peace & power, we know he smiled upon this movie and family that guarded and protected his story. Many 100’s of Jamaicans are paid extras in the movie, businesses made money, Bob would be proud that his family passed his kindness and generosity forward. One love…we are brothers and sisters at Gods/Jahs table, one race, the human race, let us make it to the finish line together…❤️

When I was around 18 I'd see bob on many occasions in the late 70's on Railton road in Brixton. I even kicked ball with him at St Agnes place in Kennington a few times, across the road from the Rasta temple where he would often be. Very precious memories. 🙏🏾

I saw him in Philly. Didn't know I was watching someone who would become so revered. Couple things I observed at the concert: most of the Rastafarians were with white women. As a young girl, very attractive, and once thought about embracing the ideology of the Rastafarian Movement, I reconsidered my decisions based on my observation and what I came to learn about Bob Marley lifestyle. I believe Bob was more revered by caucasians until after his death. A side note, I visited his mom's house in Delaware and felt out of place...I was with a local reggae musician at that time in Philly. Older and wiser, but still struggle with some of the hypocritical behavior of some Rastas. Last point, the so-called Rastas who are posting disrespectful comments, please STOP. A lot of Jamaicans did not like Bob Marley or embraced Rasta before his death. I love my daddy, but he told me "don't bring home a Rasta as his son-law."

I felt he knew he but wanted to continue doing what he loved. Even when he was in Germany, he spoke to us about coming back out on tour. He may have gotten misinformation from different sources until it was too late. Even though we wanted him to be here to share his knowledge through music, our creator took him home. He Lived. I'm grateful it was in my lifetime to have such a musical messenger in my head. Redemption Song always make me sad for all my life.

I am glad that someone had the foresight to record this moment. I feel like I am right there in that room listening the legend. Alas, like all great men who have died he is not resting but sleeping until the Most High resurrects him again. I know he said Selassie was god (even though Haile Selassie denied that he was a god) but rumor has it that he accepted Jesus Christ before his demise. That being said I would not be surprised at all if he makes it into glory. Either way, he has positively impacted the world even in my generation.

I waited anxiously for the movie. I knew Bob Marley music since mid 70s. I was in the same mindset then and now. Our young people have to be exposed to messengers like Bob to help get them onto their spiritual journey in life. I pray our youth get this musical education.
