I just enjoyed how humbling he was every show he talked about. Even the way he talked about getting the chance to show up in one of episode of Seinfeld. He didn’t know the show was popular or would be that popular, yet tried to do his best and respected the vibe the regular cast had amongst one another. Most people when they talk about guest staring on Seinfeld say they hated working on the show because the team was so tight nit and made it very hard to fit in

You can probably find it via search if their PR teams haven't actively tried to suppress it. After things went south in 2020, that sort of rhetoric became a bit more taboo.

I think the reason Bob Odenkirk fits these characters so well isn't because he looks like a conman, but that he doesn't. He's got this vibe to him that gets you to let your guard down, which makes him ideal for these sorts of characters.

It is actually amazing what he (and Gilligan of course) made with BCS. You would think it is just a lighthearted spinoff but they made the whole character arc even more engaging and complex than Walter White. Whether the scene is more comedic, dramatic, emotional or suspenseful Bob kills it every time.

Technically speaking, Breaking Bad as a whole was likely easier to write than BCS. BB is mostly a bang-bang crime story where the central character has an interesting development arc, most of which happens in the first two seasons (unsurprisingly the less popular ones - it got popular when they added more bang-bang). Whereas BCS is a series of character studies that slowly evolve into a crime story, almost as an accessory, an afterthought. People will remember BB but BCS is the real masterpiece, and I hope they manage to finish it once Odenkirk gets well.

Also where each bb episode gets faster and is a real rush of adrenalin and is like a train ride going no fucks giving pedal to the medal...bcs tells more stories and doesnt feel like a real big struggle that makes you think: WOW WHATS HAPPENING NOW OMG I NEED TO GET KNOW IT....I miss that.. especially with whole cartel and gus situation... Lalo is the only guy that feels really unorthodox and unpredictable (next to saul of course) and where ive got a really bad feeling...everyone else feels tamed

I would absolutely love to see Bob Odenkirk in a John Wick movie cameo as Hutch Mansell. It could be so simple like Keanu and Halle are walking through an airport or something and Bob walks the opposite way and Keanu's like "Hey Hutch" and Bob says "Hey John". Halle follows up with "who was that?" Keanu: "Nobody". Bonus points if the scene is in the sequel to Nobody too but follows Bob's perspective. Please for the love of God let this happen.

I think _Nobody_ is the film _John Wick_ tried to be, or at least should've been. While the JW quadrilogy was awesome, it was founded on a ridiculously bombastic premise (a world where 33% of the population are assassins and bounty hunters? C'mon...). _Nobody_ had more fun with what was ultimately the same premise, but one that was more grounded and *somewhat* believable.

he’s literally the opposite of Saul he is so grateful so gracious and an all-around great person the fact that he acknowledges the people who are working hard who will likely never get to where he is just shows the kind of person he is the only thing that him and saul have in common is their sense of humor

@@WeTheMajority I'm realising now they have a lot on common. Very similar careers, starting as classic sketch comedians and later being a cast in a fantastic show that slowly demands a much more dramatic side, and they did it successfully. Aaron Paul and David Cross are very important in both of their profesional lives. They also has appeared in a lot of the same projects (and I like them both a lot)

It's interesting how his voice and accent has changed over the years. I know some of that is character specific, but he's gotten a slight edge to his voice that has aged well.

I was surprised to read somewhere that Bob doesn't smoke. Because, comparing his voice today to how he sounded during Mr. Show, I would have instantly concluded the rasp was due to years of smoking.

This guy deserves an Emmy. Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman/Gene is one of the most complex & phenomenal characters ever & Bobby Odenkirk absolutely brings him to life. He took Breaking Bad up a notch & that’s saying something coz it was phenomenal even before he came in.

Gawd, I love him so much. A "comedic" actor that has proved to be one of the most skilled artists in evoking emotion with no words and breaking the viewer's heart with a monologue.

As basic as you might imagine the role of a sleezy lawyer, his character as Saul Goodman was incredibly likable and unique, he became one of my favorite roles in the Breaking Bad world, you truly see it in Better Call Saul.

Bob Odenkirk is a TREASURE. When I heard that he had experienced a heart attack - I was SO upset. It was as if a family member was gravely ill. The media coverage seemed geniunely anxious until he recovered ! I hope BCS has Emmy eligability in 2023- that entire cast is owed !

The acting in Better Call Saul is so phenomenal, I can not think of any characters in a series that reached that level of depth like Jimmy and Kim. What the writers and actors did so far is outstanding

I've been a huge fan of Bob's since the "Ben Stiller Show" days, and it's been such a pleasure to watch his career grow and flourish over the years. So glad he's doing better health wise, can't wait to read his new book, I'm practically foaming at the mouth in anticipation of the final season of BCS, and I can't wait to see what he does next. He's the best.

I spent years not watching Better Call Saul because I thought it would be boring. Boy, how WRONG I was! It's such a fantastic show: beautiful performances, engaging story, great characters and writing. Just as good as Breaking Bad for sure.

Yes same here I kinda had a feeling that there was no point watching the show without Walt's drama. Only then I realised Saul was the progonist of both shows and Walt was just an annoying guy who destroyed everyone.

Not going to lie “nobody” was one of my favorite movies I’ve ever seen. The action was great but also had a great comedy value that I loved. May be a predictable badass movie but it hit me different.

I'll never forget how hard I laughed at Saul's first scene in the series when he's talking to Badger. Couldn't stop laughing for about 10 mins and missed a lot of the dialog after it.

Bob Odenkirk is my favorite person in all of Hollywood history, just based on what he's helped create alone (Mr Show above all). Writing, Producing, and Acting in that order, and his acting is still perfect for this role.
