He did an alright job, he seemed rather deflated which hurt his delivery. Honestly going up with no material has to be appreciated as its own thing, outside of typical comedy routines. The fun comes from just watching the struggle and how good of a joke they can work out of almost nothing but it isn't as purely funny as a polished, thought-out routine. TJ Miller is one of my favorite improv comics, mostly because he appears as if he just doesn't give much of a fuck about how he's doing on stage and just lets whatever he thinks of come out.
