The original Mr. Show is my favorite show of all time. “The Story of Everest” is my favorite sketch from those shows. When Bob and David came back for this brief glimpse of greatness, I just assumed it wouldn’t give many scenes that were as “thought out” as those. It was such a breath of fresh air. And this sketch is so perfect, and is definitely my favorite from the new(er) episodes. Maybe we can get more sometime soon.

"Not the Mexican tile!" These guys are great, and the skit was well conceived, written, and performed. A couple of minutes into this, I found myself wondering why someone had not done this bit before. It is so obviously, naturally funny. I also like how it has that stagey, retro feel, sort of like a skit from the Carol Burnett, Flip Wilson, and/or Sonny and Cher shows. Good stuff. Laughter is the best. : )

The fact that the biggest laugh was from Odenkirk simply hitting the table and yelling "FUCK!" shows how incredible he is. To this day I think this is the closest to the perfect sketch. So simple and basic and yet it annihilates.

There was actually an extra episode that was taken down by netflix (episode 3), I won't go to deep into the reasons but you can find the reasoning online (David Cross was not happy about it). Netflix sucks for taking down episode 3, smh.

There still isn't much to find about Jay's involvement online though. He was definitely there but I don't think he was directly involved in anything and a lot of people close to him say they were surprised to see he was there to begin with.

Yeah, very disappointing, I always liked him on Mr. Show and he seemed like a nice guy in interviews. He wasn't just there (which would have been bad enough), he was helping people push forward etc. - he was actively participating in seditious activity.
