Wow, what an absolute treasure this man was. At 59 years old, with no talent or experience, I want to try painting while I recover from surgery. I wouldn’t even attempt it without Bob Ross. He takes the mystery out of painting, giving confidence to someone like me to give it try, knowing that however it turns out, I’ll have fun with it, and learn enough to get a little better with each attempt.

This man is someone we'll never forget. As someone who wants to pursue artistry digitally and seeing amazing artworks out there while me not having time to draw because I don't give myself time, I forget why I want to draw, why I want to illustrate, why I want to create. I wish I could have this painting. I’ve read most, if not all of his paintings are either sold to museums or private collectors and none have ever been sold to the public. If anyone knows where this painting is please let me know. I am going to try and find it and maybe find someway to buy it. I’ve watched over 100 episodes and I always watch them before I go to bed. He’s so peaceful and one with nature and God. He makes painting so easy!!!
