I must say, even though Bob has been gone for many years now he has impacted my life greatly. I have struggled with depression in the recent months (life is kicking my ass). But having Bob to watch after i get home from class watching this helps me feel better. This has helped with my depression and overall made me a happier person. :) thank you for posting these videos.

I struggled all my life to fit in but when I found art and painting I fell in love with it. To turn a simple piece of paper Into something mind-blowing always satisfied me. Instead of playing on the park I would draw instead of playing with toys or bike I would be doing painting. If I felt depressed I would put it on to a canvas if I felt darkness I made it into a painting. If I had failures I showed it in my painting. If I blocked out the world for second I would paint something magnificent. Love to see people expressions when they see your art it's like watching people enjoy your food if your a chef. Gives you a slight of hope that this is my calling and art always was s big part of me.

Actually almost all of them belong to Annette Kowalski, who helped Bob Ross a lot, was a good friend and supported the show. She has her personal reasons for not selling them. Partly, that Bob ross wanted people to paint their own version not just buy his

Only just recently noticed that Bob is missing most of his left-hand pointer finger. You can kind of see it whenever they do close ups of the colors, but it's usually hidden behind the palette.

Anybody paint? Ive done a few and im still having trouble putting the snow on the mountains making the paint break and glide all the way down. I use little pressure with the little roll of paint and it globs too much when i first touch the canvas and when i pull down to try and glide it and break it up the paint is already gone before i reach the bottom of the mountain

The key to this is in the first couple seconds when he says, I’ve already painted this canvas with a wet white. Once we understand that, then you can create the paintings that he does.
