Damn, this would have been a great time to be alive and of concert-going age. Seger, Springsteen, Floyd, Fleetwood Mac ... the list goes on and on and on of great bands and artists in their prime ... I came just a little late to the party (b. 1971).

Yep, it was a fantastic time to be alive and going to concerts, saw Springsteen several times, Billy Joel, Doobie Brothers, Linda Ronstadt, and on and on...Was also a great time for upstarts as well, you might get a $5 ticket at a small club this weekend and within a month they might have a hit and be playing the bigger venues. Great times, and such a variety of genres.

had an Uncle Joe ... world war 2 hero, saved his battalion, rescued by General Patton ... wonderful man, loved him like a father ... enjoyed life to the max ... went fishing, played golf - was not ever enough missing him even more this Remembrance Day
