Bob See-gar. This song is the background of my life. Someone who knew me well, made a tape of this song playing again and again on both sides. I've treasured it my whole life. Bob can make you remember feelings and times you thought you had lost. He is one of the greats, and you have heard his music everywhere! Lovely to hear again, thank you!

I'm 61 and was in Junior high when this song was released. It's a classic rock song yet holds a Gospel R&B mix with Rock. Bob Seger ruled the mid 1970s but actually started out in the mid to late 1960s.

This was my dad's favorite singer. His favorite songs by Bob Seger were Night Moves and "Against the Wind" my dad use to play that whole CD when he would work in the house. He'd be in the basement and you could hear the music on the second floor. Hearing this song brings back so many memories.

Billy you asked if he had a song that gets played everywhere.... Well uh have you ever seen a Chevrolet commercial lol!! I first heard this around 1989 at 7 years old. My daddy loved Bob Segar and he was a big Chevrolet man. Another one you may know of his is "Turn the Page". It was very popular along with "Main Street", "WE Got Tonight", and "Like A Rock". I miss riding with daddy on our way fishing or something and him playing all these songs. Thanks Billy for the happy memories.

Came out in Dec. 1976 I believe. I was in High School. I met the only girl I ever completely loved in January 1977 and on our first date she brought the cassette of the album "Night Moves". There is a lot of great songs on that album but this one stood out. I was 17, the song was playing and all I wanted was for her to kiss me because I didn't have the guts. She was the most beautiful girl I ever saw, she still is. I see her randomly when I go back to that city to visit. There are a few songs that take me directly back to her in my thoughts. This is one strong one. I usually choke. So there ya go.....you asked for it! LOL

I had heard this song for the first time a long while before the most significant time I heard it. That was when a friend asked me about the line, "She was a black haired beauty with deep dark eyes. And, points of her own sittin' way up high. Way up firm and high." So, we sat down listened to it and figured out the lyrics. This was back in the '80's. I think his "Like a Rock" song is used for an insurance company commercial and "Old Time Rock-n-Roll" is being used in a Dominos Pizza commercial as a take-off from the Tom Cruise movie, "Risky Business". "Night Moves" is probably my favorite of his but "Against the Wind" is another fave which was played in the movie "Forrest Gump". Oh, you've definitely heard a lot of his stuff. : )
