First time I ever heard Bob was a concert in my high school gymnasium. Not long before Ramblin/Gamblin Man hit the airwaves. 1967, us old Michigan geezers knew about Bob long before the rest of the world.

this comment will expose the depths of my geekness, but in the late 80s my church got a new organist...a young guy, who had once played with Bob Seger! Before I had heard of 'degrees of separation" I was beyond thrilled to know someone who had worked with Seger. I know I asked why he wasn't still with Seger but I don't remember the answer...it was something sensible, I think ;)

I've seen Bob in concert 8 to 10 times from 1978 to 2012...the excitement of his shows started while camping out to get tickets then having to wait for his fabulous shows..great memories!!!

I go to concerts with my niece a lot and we have seen Bob twice. His shows were some of the best shows we have been to. He just completed his final tour about a year ago and it was great as always. His voice is starting to go some but he still knows how to put on a really great show and his hit tune don't suffer the ravages of time when he performes them today.

I love myself some Bob Seger. You have got to have seen Forrest, Forrest Gump. The scenes where he is jogging across country, “Against the Wind” starts at some point. I told you that you would like him. He is/was one of my mama’s favorites along with Rod Stewart & Rick James.

I'm tell you... you know 90% or more of Bob Seger songs ! ✌😎 He's in the Rock-n-Roll HOF for a reason ! Although there are bands like GFR that still not there yet.... & that's a crazy messed-up shame ! But Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band deserve it all the way ! So does GFR... but hey we can't forget those one or two hit Rap stars 😐 Never mind that Grand Funk Railroad gave many generations mind blowing Rock-n-Roll mega hits ! ( ok I know I went off on this GFR rant but damn if Seger is in GFR should be in that's all I'm getting at ✌😎) I can pick out Bob Seger voice anywhere... it may have changed a-bit with age.... but damn he's still awesome 😎🎙
