So much exciting news - I'm hyped! Aaron Pierre is a brilliant choice. He and Chandler are gonna kill it together on screen. I can imagine Pierre's Stewart alongside Corenswet's Superman, too, and man that could be epic. I'm super intrigued by the whole Swaybox Robins movie idea too. It sounds really innovative and out-of-the-box. I love creative ideas like that.

WE HAVE OUR HAL JORDAN & JOHN STEWART FOLKS!💚💍 Congratulations on Aaron Pierre, Rebel Ridge showed me how much of a great casting this is. I will say that while I would've personally preferred a skinned actor since John being dark skin was an important aspect his creators Dennis O'Neil and Neal Adams made sure to implement, speaking as a black man myself, I can look past that since I do believe he's going to excel at playing John, so Im still excited. Im really excited for the Lanterns show so far, and while Kyle Chandler isn't my first pick for Hal, he's still a good pick for Hal despite my own personal disapproval of casting someone turning 60 to play Hal? I really pray they don't have Hal as Parallax at the end of the show because I want to see Hal Jordan have a solid character arc and actually dive into his iconic, interesting rivalry with Sinestro, despite the likelihood that Hal will not stick around for long . I haven't even watched Rebel Ridge, I've only seen it's cover art when scrolling thru Netflix, and literally the second I saw Aaron Pierre in that main image for the show, I thought, "damn, he'd make a pretty perfect John Stewart". Tall, muscular black dude with green eyes and even has a face shaped very similarly to how he's been drawn over the years, PLUS, it's not like he's well known for any other major franchise character (yet), so Stewart is the perfect character for him to make his mark. As for sir Chandler, I think he's also an epic choice. I think he should put on like, a little bit of muscle, but his face is perfect, his acting is great for what they're going for. I love a slightly brooding Kyle Chandler (anyone else really like that show, Loudermilk?). He looks fantastic in those photoshop renders in the thumbnail, and I think he'll look even more fantastic with the mask on. The other awesome thing about Kyle is that he could be fairly easily aged-down if they wanted to tell a story in Hal's past, or what seems more likely for the new DCU, he could easily voice himself in an animated GL story. That way Hal gets to stick around for a while, even if they are gonna go for the Parallax-arc fairly early in the DCU. I think that might happen towards the middle, or maybe the end of "Gods & Monsters".

I agree lanterns is definitely my most looked forward to but really if Superman flops it’s going to kind of ruin the DCU. As for the dynamic duo movie, I think it would be really weird to introduce that universes Batman in a stop motion animated film about 2 different robins, and then for the brave and the bold also make that movie about Robin and Batman. If dynamic duo ends up being a part of the dcu we are going to have 3 robins before we even get to understand Batman.

the dynamic duo movie could be set in the past as Jason could be the new robin as dick is going to pass the mantle soon to become nightwing. the two robins could be trying to help someone in trouble. we could get a teen titans reference with dick Grayson in the movie. dick could be at the point he is going to leave the robin mantle to become nightwing soon and he is helping Jason to be the new robin. we could see many batman Villans in the movie and have blackmask or Scarface and the ventriloquist be the main villain. the blackmask or Scarface and ventriloquist gang could be hunting someone, and the robins get involved and we see how their styles of justice work together. dick could officially pass the mantle of robin to Jason at the end of the movie and become nightwing. batman could have a small role in the movie in the beginning and at the end. idk .

I have to check that one out but, both anti-monitor and blackest night I would love to see done and live action at some point. I did have one thought, though for a grounded villain. I’d like to see at the end of chapter 1 I don’t know if it would ever happen, but I would like to see the legion of doom since we haven’t had them in live action before we’ve only ever had them in animation as far as I know. This is another idea I just want to run by anybody who’s willing to listen, but my thought is we know the lanterns and the series are supposed to discover something terrifying on earth I don’t know if it’ll lead to the main villain of chapter 1, but considered it could be the center and I know the center has been done in animation before but it does not mean it can’t be done in live action. I just hope it’s not the center. It’s like one of my least favorite villains. I just don’t feel like it has a real personality.

The actor for Hal is (let’s face it) super old and didn’t sign on. I do believe parallax is going to be the big bad of DCU chapter 1 but it’ll start in the show by parallax taking over Hal which ultimately kills him.
