Indeed, it is something seeing a version of these two that is more private citizen instead of super villain. A lot of characters from so many different parts of DC. Have to wonder about some things as well. Still, it’s nice to have this version of the brain and malla. And having friends like these guys in your back pocket can come in handy.

I loved the Teen Titans growing up. I always tried watching every episode I could. I've also read some of the Doom Patrol comics. Brain and Mallah are my favorite villains. However, I do love this new rendition of them as they're quite wholesome and just pure. Still mad scientists as that's what they will always be, but this just makes them more unique among other iterations.

Back then, the Brain was . . . well, a human brain in a jar fashioned to resemble an edgy skull while Mallah was more ferocious looking with giant canines and a pair of sashes across his chest. They literally conspired to capture and flash-freeze/kill an entire generation of heroes (the Teen Titans and their allies) by gathering as many fellow villains to their side as possible

Exactly, it's a human brain in a non human body, so no sexual contact, they just respect eachother intelligence and are in a purely romantic relationship, so It doesen't count as zoophilia to me. The Brain and Monsieur Mallah are the only good version in My Adventure with Superman universe. The other version is their evil counterpart in another DC Comics universe, like the Teen Titans, Young Justice and Batman The Brave and The Bold.
