You are a great teacher and great at explaining! I have watched so many bobbin lace videos because I really want to give it a try and yours are the first videos that made me feel confident to move forward understanding the basic concepts! You have a way of explaining things clearly and slowly that my brain appreciates, thank you!

I am setting up to teach a bobbin lace class and will definitely recommend to my students that they watch your videos. They are incredibly informative and well done.

I love that these tutorials show how to use readily available materials, I hate having to special order stuff or scour the internet for hours looking for specific equipment and materials (or like with the pattern, just use packing tape instead of going all the way out to Kinkos and laminating it, love it!)...

Your videos are GREAT! I would like to see a video about what to do when there is thread left on the bobbin and you are ready to start a new project. i.e. How does one start the pattern.

Hi JoMichael! If you photocopy the pattern, can you just put packing tape on the front, too?

it is best to get clear matte contact paper or the light blue contact paper that Holly Van Sciver sells at van sciver bobbin lace on the web the reason the the packing tape dose not work is it is shiny and is hard on the eyes while working good luck and happy lacing
