Bob, you are so kind to make these videos. Many artists seem to disappear from video making unless for cash. You will be remembered many years hence as an artist who gave to his art. Bravo! also, I am enjoying to see how you think.

I’m so blessed I found you. I’ve learned more in a week than I’ve learned in a life time. When I paint I have ‘the judge ‘ come down and explain how disproportional or ‘ i need to work on making my paintings more realistic. The more common remark is „that looks like s__. Are you serious? ‘’. I’ve hidden my art for so many years I’m still not able to show my creative love. I need art like I need air. Your brilliant „ showing people that there isn’t a crucial mistake. You teach so well about color and composition. I have a rejuvenated bravery for painting what I love. Thank you. You are a ray of sunshine for me. Thank you again!

Bob! These polyptics are fantastic! It was sooooo helpful to see some of your process, it really helps as a new artist to see what it really takes, what that looks like...The work itself is gorgeous, very powerful and the title fits perfectly with this series, it brought out equality to have so much more meaning than just the obvious, which ithut was brilliant! So rare to 'see' more behind the meaning, in an artwork, I love it! You nailed it! Thank KS Bob, so grateful your sharing, can't wait to binge all your videos. Diane Bassett yesss! I wish they would do more video like this where we can see the many different parts of how he creates & pulls them together. Omg what a beautiful mind he has. It’s great how when he’s painting on that gel medium he actually starts jumping in sync with the brush - he is truly all in. We can all learn from him how to let go and just go with it. And who cares if it isn’t perfect!! We can come back and do something else to it. I was watching his coffee cups paintings today. A rather large one on the wall I thought looked amazing but Bob says he had done it a long time ago. He decided it wasn’t done. Oh nooo.. it looked great! He started slopping paint here and there.. I was sure he was going to ruin it because it was something for me I would consider so nice & keep as a masterpiece. He says it has no ‘JENAYSAYQUAH’ 😆 Bob is Bob. He throws the paint on like a crazy man and next thing ya know it’s like Wowee 🤩 he was right! He took a great painting and made it look like something new & unbelievable! Hahahahaha.. He moves & creates like a 20 year old! Anyways I was mostly commenting on your post because he seems to do the same thing for you that he does for me - and getting the creative juices flowing as we all practice social distancing together, apart, is a good thing. So maybe this will ring your notifications bell and bring you back to some of Bobs Blasts - which are sooo cool right about now. Happy painting!!! 🎨🤗✌️✌️✌️

Really enjoyed watching the whole process and hearing your thoughts as you paint. I had asked for this a few videos ago and so happy to see you doing this, as well as taking the paintings to a conclusion. What a great video! I doubt most people realize what you did here but it is surely a masterclass all on its own. I only wish I had a studio where I could paint and drip all over the place! LOL💕

Really interesting but it seems there is far too much water added which breaks down the integrity of the acrylic binding qualities. The paintings will have no longevity?

Only acrylics with low longivity i tried were matt acrylics with chalk. It crackled in dry air over a time. Compared with oils acrylics longivity is like a miracle!

It takes me several "passes" of working before I get to the point where I can say it is finished. This polyptych is definitely in process. The lesson of this BobBlast was to keep all the polyptych panels unified by elements of color, linework, pattern, etc. Thanks for writing.
