Barefoot shoes by hike wear are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. I’m 70 with neuropathy and these shoes help me “ feel the ground “ under my feet! My balance has improved significantly wearing these shoes

I fell the last 2 Fridays so I’m not having a Friday this next week!! Thank you so much for this. I’m 87, have neuropathy in my feet, bad hammer toes, bunions, and a big toe that curls up. The difficulty in finding shoes that aren’t painful is a real challenge. Teaching on a cement floor covered with cheap thin tiles and high heels has a cost.

Sorry to hear that, hope these are helpful. Stay safe!

I have extra wide feet, high arches and supination (underpronation). I had to start wearing an orthotic to be pain-free when entering my 6th decade due to plantar fasciitis and low back pain. Through trial and error I discovered I need a 4E width to get that roomy toe box while using an orthotic and wanted to recommend 2 brands (I hope that's okay) since I'd like to save people in a similar situation some headache. I spent so many hours and way too much money at specialty shoe stores getting custom fittings, Rx orthotics, etc. Right off the shelf models of Propet and New Balance carry extra wide shoes including 4E. Of the two, the Propets have the roomiest toe boxes. The light weight, flexible mesh Propet Travel Actives feel like little clouds for hiking, shopping, and walking distances.

I had a girl friend in Poughkeepsie who liked to drink a little whisky which made her a little tipsy so she went to a chiropractor in Cincinnati who lived next to her daddy and now she is very happy.

I think we need more wider shoes, it is so frustrating not finding them in sandals and flip flops as well as in smaller sizes

I have found, after many years of S.I. joint pain, that the best shoes for me are those that “cradle” my ankles. I cannot wear shoes/ sandals/ slippers that are open-backed. Something you fellows might want to address in one of your videos 😊

Great video but what about those of us that have had arthroplasty on any of the toes? Joints have been removed from my toes due to hammering. They aren't bending as usual.

The difference in the thicker zero drop is the toe spring and u less you’re running, we don’t need the toe spring in a shoe

Yes, shoes. The highly padded roll like a boat. Think of the old K-Swiss tennis shoes. Sability side to side. These shoes now are all made in third worlds from plastic. They do not conform to feet. Walk barefoot indoors to align the knees, hips and back and neck. I'm new to handicap so chart all of this. The second thing is the rollator. Have it higher on the handles and lower bars so the elbows are bent. Then it's a balance push device and people won't lean on them stooping when lower. Make sense? Rollator is a must! The 3rd thing is a taller commode. No 15 inches from floor. 17 inches is such a difference. Tips

For those of us (about 20% I think) with the longer second toe, the shoes like you're pointing out with the longer area for the big toe are no darn good. And in sandals, well, they look ridiculous, but I see some women wearing them anyway. Are you old enough to remember Kukla, Fran and Ollie? If you are, you'll know what I mean!

What’s a reciprocating massage head?
@BobandBrad5 күн бұрын
A reciprocating massage head is a type of massage attachment that moves back and forth in a straight-line motion, rather than vibrating or percussing. This movement mimics a deep kneading or stretching motion, making it particularly effective for targeting muscles with a more focused, linear pressure.

If toes cramp with bending , could it be due to a statin or vitamin deficiency? Which vitamin?
