Both of you gentlemen are a Godsend. I needed this information because I sit a lot. I will definitely share this information with my colleagues. The medical industry is now calling a lot of sitting the new smoking. Peace

Great info, gentlemen! Just bought an armless task chair. The old one, a "big man's" chair, wasn't cutting it (I'm 5'2"; my husband 6'1" & this was his castoff). Couldn't get close enough to desk, so that was a whole 'nother issue. Will purchase the Flexispot next. Thanks for the coupon link!

That kind of computer or ergonomic chair is designed to fit your sitting posture variations. Very few knows how to sit that. Vary your sitting posture every 10 mins or so. Lying back, sit straight, cross legs on it, even crunch sit in it. I read it from "Low Back Disorders" by Stuart McGill

I recently switched to a yoga ball with a minimal back rest. It was difficult the first few week but man now I can crack a walnut with these cheeks.

I hurt my back last year. I would much rather stand than sit. When you go to someones house they always want you to sit down.

Can you do a video for best posture for watching streaming media like KZbin or Netflix? I watch a lot of content on my laptop and I end up hunched over as well. Sometimes I plug my laptop into my computer to watch on a bigger screen but I find that I need to get up often to skip ads, pause, etc. I have back and leg pain and I'm trying to figure out where to sit for the best posture watching content. I don't wanna stand watching Netflix.

Gentlemen, I have degenerative disc disease that affects both sides, beginning mid to low back and also affects my tailbone (greatly). I've been going to a pain management doctor and have had several injections that have not worked. I just lost my insurance due to my husband being laid off. Any suggestions? I am in bed pretty much all the time. Thank you.

So sorry to hear that. It's hard for anyone to suggest treatment without looking at you first but here are some things that you should look into ASAP: 1. DeepCore stabilization/ strength 2. Hamstring flexibility and quad strengthening 3. Try getting a door pull-up bar and start with just hanging with legs on floor and slowly make your way up to doing shoulder shrugs and in a few years maybe a pull-up depending on your age and fitness level

My back must be too far gone then. Because standing is excruciating. Slouching is the only position that isn't extremely painful.

Lol what if you can’t stand in a office job. As there is no standing desk or stool 😂😂😂😂. This isn’t practical for a normal employee. Maybe if your the boss you can do that. Nice try with your advice tho.
