I purchased a wedge based on your recommendation for my lower back and hip pain, it has helped me tremendously! My side sleeping was a major reason for the pain to begin with, I now sleep on my back. It’s also good for circulation, my inherited varicose veins are minimized and pain-free. Thanks for doing these videos!

This is a very important video for me because since I developed this sciatic pain, sleeping at night has been the biggest problem. I have a lot of pain during the day, too, but can deal with it better. Pain gets worse at night, for some reason. I've tried so many positions (even floor) and pillow arrangements and the pain is so bad I can't sleep. I think I have made things worse. I'm definitely going to try some of these things!

@@cp1048 Mine only lasted 2 weeks I think because I did some of the exercises suggested on You Tube videos and also took short walks, though I had to use a crutch & sit down frequently. I also used a tennis ball which I rolled under me in the painful spots. The lack of sleep (11 nights) was terrible. I tried using pillows but still could not sleep. So now I am careful how I bend to pick up things so I don't get it again. So far so good. Good luck!

I am a 34yo male 10stn.2lbs 5'6" and have horrific restless legs and lower back pain...i got my self a pregnancy U pillow...OMG..i have never slept so good in my life. My knees are apart. My legs are still. My back is supported. I feel snug and secure I hardly move at all during my sleep. My shoulder pain has gone because sleeping on my side my shoulder pulls forward but having this big pillow to cuddle is perfect for resting my arm and keeping my shoulder elevated. I wish it was longer however as I don't like sleeping curled up...longer would allow me to stretch my legs out further and keep them appear at the knees and ancels. It is the best $40 I have ever spent. EVER!

Thank you two so much! I had piriformis a few years ago and did several weeks of physical to manage the pain. When I began having issues with sciatic pain again I assumed it was the same issue and started doing stretches for that but they weren't helping. Your videos helped me realize it was a herniated disc and I switched to ways to treat that and saw immediate improvement. You all saved me a lot of pain and money!

Great tips!! I have what started as an an L5 S1 bulge that has since herniated. I had a cortisol injection that lasted 6 weeks then suddenly I. December the most awful flare up which has left me in immense pain. It’s starting to ease off now this is week 6 but the first 3 weeks I had absolutely no sleep due to no relief from the pain. I’m on gabapentin, naproxen and paracetamol at night when I wake up in pain I take co-codomil. Its taken ages to heal and I’m doing daily walks, stretches, physio and osteopath I’m trying everything I hope it goes soon 🙏🙏😢 I can’t even work and have been signed off for weeks ..

I have a sciatica flared up for the past 3 weeks it is the most horrible pain ever. I have tried everything that I possibly can. I even went to the ER they gave me predisone and something for pain which did not help at all. My doc want me to get a CT scan but I am afraid to get it done because of the radiation and I don't want to be in a machine in a closed room I am claustrophobic. I am in agony I can't even walk. I will give this pillow thing a try! Hope I can get some sleep.

My question is directed to Bob due to his height. I am 6'1” and find that when I get pillows under my knees that any blankets/sheets add weight on the feet and that pain is not comfortable. Are you sleeping with blankets/sheets and if so how do you avoid the pain I am referring to? I would love to try the wedge but just don’t believe that is going to work in bed.
@tosue14 жыл бұрын
That's the 1st thing I thought of. The pressure on feet hanging over the end of that wedge, then you add the weight of sheets and blankets. In the past I had this problem even sleeping flat on my back. And I'm only 5'2"!
@rochelleuah4 жыл бұрын
I have that exact issue. Long time ago (before my problem) I saw a piece of equipment in the FootSmart.com catalog. It slid between mattress and box springs at end of the bed and you could adjust its height to hold the covers above your feet so sheet and blankets would not touch you.
@tosue14 жыл бұрын
@@rochelleuah I'm not having trouble now but I'll look into that for future reference. I get too warm now for my heavy comforter, but that could change.
@reginaromsey4 жыл бұрын
tosue1 I had that problem with the weight on my toes and the strain on my calves. I finally did away with the sheets and blankets and found a nice Thick quilted duvet. It’s not tucked in, it moves with me, and is light. Think about why you have to have a sheet and nice wool blankets. There is no real reason for them if the batting in the quilt is washable.

I'm your viewer since last year but I still cannot find a solution for pain in my right hip. Painful QL which is pulling my hip up, adductors/hamstrings tightness and quadriceps pain (top part - in the middle there's like swelling in comparison to left leg which is superb ). I've been to 10 physio's but they did literally nothing, zero. The problem appeared when I graduated uni 7 months ago and started my full time job in the office - I was still running, dealing with issues but in October the pain just eliminated me from sports, from running. From that time I am just trying to find a solution but I'm truly lost. Greetings Bob&Brad :)
