Bobby Hundreds is undoubtedly one of my biggest inspirations of all time.

I've never heard of this guy or his company before, but I really appreciated this episode, Jamie. He has a lot of great insights, especially the story about the guy dying of cancer telling him not to devote his life to work he didn't care about. That's where I'm at in life right now. I'm in the industry I love, but I've just been chasing the money and benefits, and my dream is to start my own business. It seems like Bobby's story is really reenforcing this idea I have to go do my own thing.

Great episode Chief! Love ya Bobby! I think I'm gonna make some changes, I've been making a great salary doing big corp stuff for a long time, but my heart is no longer in it. The more money I make, doesn't change a thing. Your mantra about your initial passion taking you where you need to go, really stuck with me, I cant stop thinking about it.

Damn, bobby is a G. He's awesome for really just keeping it so real and humble, you can tell that all his mind is devoted to his work. I just started to really think of all the shirts and product I have ever seen on the shelf and it surely reflect straight back to him which I feel you both have in common. Great episode 👍

Hi, and thanks for the channel! Can I ask you if there are some IRC dedicated ones, as for skateboarding, too?
@joshwilliams76926 жыл бұрын
I definitely relate to needing a cornerstone, a brand that's always around. Things change so much in skateboarding, and this might sound strange, but I get a sense of security by seeing the standard brands in the shops throughout the years. As long as I've been skating, there's always been Powell Peralta, Birdhouse, Zero, Vans, and Independent. They just seem like some of the most important brands to the industry, and they never go away, even if they might struggle during the lean times.

Have to admit, didn't know much about Bobby when I started to listen this episode (The Hundreds isn't as big in my country as it is in, for example, US - I know the brand, but not the guys behind it). But man, that dude was a pleasure to listen. Actually thinks a lot like I do. :) Great episode, inspiring once again.

Jamie Whyd u stop making these podcasts, they were good bro. Did u get into ur own head too much about the low amount of views or something? Or were u just over the hassle of having to book diva guests? Cause we need more of this.

33:50 wow!!!!!!!!!! Hearing a business owner questioning these things and saying that they have a moral responsibility to the system. I need to know more about this person and his brand. They get that while money is important it is not the be all and end all. These are the type of people we need in politics. Bobby Hundreds for president!!!!!!!!!

jamie, idk if you ever plan on doing this anymore, but at the moment the nine club hasn't had cardiel on their show yet, i heard you wanted to be on black label originally because cardiel was your favorite skater (not that i can blame you), so i think this would be a good opportinuty for you to one up c.rob by having cardiel on your thing first
