This famous linguist once said, that of all the phrases in the English language, of all the endless combinations of words in all of history, that Bobby Puleo is the most beautiful.

Feel strange commenting. But, quick story about Bobby that always has resignated with me. Time was 2003 -2006, place Seattle WA. A friend and I were skating the old concrete Seaskate in the OG location. Bobby approached me and my friend and struck up a conversation. We both knew it was Bobby, but the context seemed strange at the time, if only cause in our minds Bobby symbolized NY skating with maybe a touch of SF, Bobby in Seattle? I guess not that weird, but Bobby was so awesome to have a conversation with and it has always stuck with me how great that interaction was. Bobby I feel like for years will be a skater that's talked about and celebrated, if you know you know.

52:10 A ‘satisfying skate’ Me and my mate talk about this regularly. Seems the older you get the harder it can be to have a skate that leaves you satisfied and therefore mentally recharged. For me the spot has to be right, if I don’t get a vibe from it I cannot interact. Bobby just puts his thoughts into words far better than me. Amazing interview, thanks.

Always thought that the cellar doors were just representative of BP's choice of terrain. Yeah, there was so much more to his skating for sure. The cellar doors though..."that's gangster". He always comes across as thoughtful, observant, and articulate. Not just a rad skater, but also a rad person. Last couple of weeks has been some good stuff: Bobshirt with Guy; chrome ball with Fraser (which also goes into the symbiosis with vert and street influencing each other); and then this vid. It'd be rad to see a guest board for BP with Metal skates. The New Jersey connection with FG and everything. Liked!

I’m glad that the trash skatepark selection in Long Island during my time has finally been documented on KZbin. I’m also happy Special Sauce and Prize Fighter was mentioned, this made the video for me.

out of nowhere in the video .. "yo check this dude out". cat with American flag cruises by ... then douche bag interviewer says "U.S.A. baby" ... I would have looked at Bobby and said, "wow, a guy with a flag .. who cares?" ... people are people is the point of my complaint ... you guys are limp. I mean step back and look .. 2 adults talking for over an hour about "cellar doors" is somewhat a stooge factor in comparison ... I'm sure someone with a military history would definitely be like "you're talking about your LITTLE career in skateboarding?" and trust me, I know of Puleo's importance.. you just have to step back and look at things ... obviously Bobby has experience with the World Trade Center ... seems like it would mean something to him ... just a little
