I think what makes you stand out is your ability to think logically. This is the only religion I've studied so far that coexist with the rational mind, and the believing heart may Allah guide you. The answer to what brought down the Islamic empire, it's going astray, corruption, and leaving God's way. The answers what we need to do to make the islamic uma great again. It's easy, pray, fast, and Allah will show the way.

yeah because when you think of it, the islamic golden age resulted from individuals who did their best to raise islam and the word of truth, people who live their lives according to the universal law of God. Those individuals are our beloved prophet Mohamed peace be upon him and his companions peace be upon them and all the muslim belivers...and if every single muslim followed their religion in their best way possible, we can surely rise again if God wills, in order for a group to succeed there needs to be a team work. but thats our problem, people among us are one of the main reasons why islam is in this state. lazy people, hypocrites, people who claim to be muslim yet they do the exact opposite of what islam teaches..."Indeed, Allāh will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves" (Surah Ar-Ra'd verse 11)

The fall of the Islamic empire came when religiosity started to conflict with the advancement of technology. This tends to happen in religious societies, they begin to wonder how much technology do we really need? The Christians were much worse in this respect, burning books and libraries lol but Muslims stopped advancing militarily which left them open to defeat by those with superior weapons. It was not sin and "going astray" religiously. If anything they got more religious than ever.

A small message to the criticisers here: We humans on the earth are not just robots who have to mechanically pray, follow rules etc, but to think and ponder and CONTEMPLATE as Quran teaches us! It also depends on the abstract and alt intelligence, between different people thats why some are outwardly following whatever they are told and some are deep seekers who embrace contemplation, mystical teachings and go beyond! Anyway lets all live in harmony rather spreading bigotry and sectarianism.

One of the main rules in Islam is: Do not transform or re-invent Islam, for all we will ever need when it comes to legislations has been given to us by Allah himself. Any modifications are walking astray from the right path. Sufism, in its very core, is based on deforming Islam, coming up with new notions that have nothing to do with the religion, and building straight up a new sect/cult which has nothing to do with Islam. There is indeed a margin for what is called 'ijtihad' which is innovation/adaptation to different situations. But the main pillars must remain untouchable no matter what.

Those who say Sufism is innovation are, to my opinion and experience, reiterating what others told them. Sufism is beautiful. To me it’s the heart of my religion. It allows me to meditate, cry and deeply connect with Allah. Allah knows the best but Sufism is pure love and devotion. The stories of Sufi saints is absolute inspiration. The love those saints had for Allah and his messengers is worth emulating. I wouldn’t know how to love Allah to the extend I have had if I were not introduced to their stories at a young age. Some rituals of some sufis might rub people off in the wrong way, but how could you know the stories of these saints and their love for Allah and His religion and try to invalidate them. We know how Islam is portrayed to the world by the media, many non-Sufis do the same thing to Sufism. I even heard one guy who has a dawah channel say Sufism is a sect like Shia…the sheer ignorance. Sufism is not a sect, they are ahlus sunnah wal jamaah.

Lately, the videos you are watching are all over the place and at this point are of no benefit in seeking the truth. May Allah help us, guide us, and strenghten our faith.

This so called “golden age” is a misnomer. The golden age of Islam is when the Prophet peace be upon him and the first century or two spread Islam everywhere The so called golden age actually had some good and some bad aspects, but that is when issues started to emerge that led to some secularization. That’s why from a secular perspective they consider the 8th to 14th century the “golden age” because that’s when art, science, and philosophy became rampant. But if you think of it from a religious perspective the golden age is when people are most subservient to Allah and that was definitely in the first century or two of Islam

This has been a CASH COW for you! It seems like your channel grows at least a thousand followers every few days! Veganism, Carnivore diet, and Orthodox Christianity didn't get anywhere NEAR this! The big players on the Carnivore channels are getting into video arguments with each other lately-THAT seems to be temperarily giving THEM more views. (I guess there's only so many new videos that can be made saying "just eat meat and drink water." LOL! ) But there seems to be a NEVER ENDING stream of available Islamic videos. If they ever run out are you going to start with a NEW religion?

Why don't you worry about yourself for a second? Look into the holy Qur'an for you owe it to yourself. Maybe this is God giving you a chance to see if you are sincere.

whether or not you think he’s reacting to Islamic themed videos for money what do you yourself have to say about the videos he reacts to? Like he could be doing this strictly for money or he could not. But irregardless of that what do think of this particular video he reacted to and the benefits that Islam has provided to the world through philosophy and science? How about you talk about the elephant in the room rather than the fly?

Daeesh, ISI$ Terrorists learn from him because he taught to wipe out all who does not follow his way of Quran and sunnah, and he killed and Saudi arabi is outcome. May God burn him in hellfire, he is the reason Sunni muslims are in chaos today. Please come back to traditional sunni ahlus sunnah and leave that sect behind.

The real golden age of Islām was time of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم and his companions i.e, Ist generation, followed by the 2nd generation (Taba'īn: students of companions) and then 3rd generation (Atba ut Tāba'īn: students of 2nd generation). Their level is unmatched. Allāh knows best.

The preference of some prophets over some is a matter specific to Allah Almighty only, and he alone owns this matter, and no human being can differentiate between these prophets without knowledge or according to whim, and let the comparison be : " And these Messengers (who have been designated to guide people), We have exalted some of them above the others." Not sure of you'll see this my brother but I highly recommend all Muslims to read the Muqaddimah by Ibn Khaldun. In his books he does a in-depth analysis of everything within the various Muslim Empires of the Golden age and much more. His summary is available in various languages from what I gather. People can download pdf format online in English for free and probably other languages too.

I say: The cause of that was the teachings of the Qur’an, which taught them to be independent in thinking and to avoid blind imitation. It taught them to be prepared to lead mankind in spiritual and worldly matters alike. But all of that disappeared for subsequent generations, after the demise of the Islamic caliphate and after Arabic civilisation ceased to flourish, when power shifted to the non-Arabs who had nothing of Islam except superficial traditions and were not strongly connected to the guidance of the Qur’an. Tafseer al-Manaar, 11/173

People who followed mystical paths were considered heretics at the beginning but over the centuries the teaching of the Sufis was accepted. Even members of the religious establishment joined these groups. Two schools arose - an Iranian mysticism based on ecstasy and divine love and an Iraqi school based on asceticism. Several sects followed the conquest of much of Anatolia by the Selçuk Turks and had established themselves there by 1299 when the Ottomans, under Osman, began expanding in force.

This reminded me of a video of a Muslim student speaking at a conservative gathering in a university in America. The student mentioned to the conservative speaker how the American constitution was heavily influenced by the Sharia/Islamic law. He was dismissed and seen as a liar. The audience laughed and the comment section mocked the student's claim. I find it so interesting how easily history is forgotten and how arrogant a lot of westerners can be.

to put it simple : the golden age started when the people were preaching the word of allah and the khalifat tried their best to succeed the prophet, the fall of the golden age started when the people were becoming more interested by the this life and the rulers started to fight each other to get the rains and to get the title khalifat for the prestige of it not for the duties of that title (like in the west back then)

The fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence) of the Sharia (The Law) is broadly divided into two parts: The Economic part (which deals with economics, banking, war, medicine, societal laws, judicial law, etc) and the Spiritual part (which deals with religion and Scriptures). They both complement each other however.

Assalamualaikum brother Bobby... Actually, analysis 'has' been done on what the Muslims did to reach the golden age... 2 highly prominent figures in the 20th century did so... namely imam hasan albana in Egypt and Abu 'ala Al maududi in India.... Interestingly... despite the 2 being on different continents, and not having direct contact with each other and speaking different languages.... They came up with a similar framework. This framework involves 7 steps/stages that have to be achieved, each building upon the previous step... namely: 1. Fardh muslim (the individual muslim) 2. Bait muslim (the muslim family) 3. Mujtama muslim (the muslim society) 4. Islah hukumah ( reform of government) 5. Dualah Islamiah ( the muslim country) 6. Khilafah islamiah ( the Caliphate) 7. Ustaziatul alam ( Islamic world order) I'd be happy to elaborate more. Just hit me.

Allah says in quran we perfected your religion today, that means Islam in its entirety is revealed to us, and Allah has said how he wants us to worship, and if you invent any other acts of worship then this eventually leads to new religion and division, the wisdom behind why we pray as unity in masjid and we all have same Kibla direction of praying is Allahs wisdom, and he didn't tell us to worship him in the way the Sufis does that is the problem, if Allah did say to worship him like this we would gladly accept and do it, especially Prophets Mohammad and sahaba would do it, but none of them did.
