You're clearly at the top of your craft! I'm looking forward to seeing you finish this this cat! I know it will be an amazing piece.

When I was younger I was always interested in taxidermy.. thought about getting int it .. then as I got older I just came to realize I am not at all artistic enough to be good at it. I still do love and appreciate it and have quite a few professional mounts decorating my house.

Get yourself a right-handed and left-handed hoof trimming knives. It is curved and a helluva lot safer than curved or straight paring knives.

Glad there are still some real talented taxidermist out there like Amy 👍 ha ha , it seems like some supply companies are trying to make taxidermy same as rap music . No talent necessary .It takes all of the fun out of being an artist . Fake everything, just slip the skin on like a sock and hang it on the wall ....No real artist ability necessary ! Just kidding , it's really not that bad 😱🫣😁
