That's why I don't understand these people, playing ranked on a game they have no idea of. I always have a few clues about a game before I start playing rank.

Bronze has a meta of its own. Lower apm makes for a different flow to the game, and extra upgrades and buildings tend to have more value if used correctly.

For real mister Grubby, this series is pure gold. I haven't played Warcraft III for like 20 years or so, but it is still somewhere in my heart. I still love the graphics too, and still feel pumped to see heroes leveling and whatnot. When I watch the bronze league you put on youtube, my vanity kicks in and tells me : "Come on, I can at least do better than that, right ?!" and I am compelled to test myself online once again. Although, everything you said about reforged stills keeps me at bay ( 3Go + download for nothing comes to mind ), for how long will I be detered ? Honestly i think that multiple production structures are a safety net for those players. They might be scared that they will lose their entire army and since they are floating so many resources they make those production to remake their army much faster than with optimal number of production units. But it's pure speculation.

Bober really reminds me of my playstyle: Grunts - because they are strong and robust, TC - because he is strong and robust and he is useful, even if I miss with some spells, upgrades - because it's an easy way to strengthen your army. And very early attack, because what else are small maps made for ? I never accepted the tactical and RPG aspect of Warcraft, nor did I accept the importance of tricks and shenanigans. My first RTS was C&C and later red alert - there you have to make tanks and send them to the enemy base. I play Warcraft the same way. Glad to see someone else be so straightforward

Hi, after watching Bronze Heroes, I decided to buy Warcraft 3 and play it like I did for the first time when I was 12, 20 years ago. I knew nothing about the game and just enjoyed it. It might sound silly to some, but I'm incredibly enjoying it. Being a bronze hero is fun.

a couple benefits of early upgrades: early upgrades make your initial units heartier which can keep them alive longer and you could see it as effecting the total # of affected troops throughout the match rather than calculating the value only towards the 3 early grunts. but i cant argue with the pro playstyle

i remember for a LONG TIME in my early years of competitive ladder success as orc, all you needed on gold WAS 4 because you legit could GLITCH them into all four having "Very Fast" movement in GREEN color movement. collecting fastest gold possible with a VERY precise altar/burrow pinch. which allowed you have enough on wood to fast tech to t3, get first hero fs, 2nd hero at t2 tc, 2 beastiaries and click up to t3 same time (all 3 at once) cuz you'd be creeping your FS to lvl3 or creepjacking opponent at lvl2. then when tc gets with fs, you continue to creepjack. t3 hits, 4 wyverns in quueue +1 ranged attack. 5th wyvern. poison attack, and 6th wyvern behind the 5th and bada bing bada boom, before the end of first moon and start of 2nd day; you'd have either luckily 5/3 fs/tc or 4/2 to 4/3 fs/tc with 1-0 + poison upgrade wyverns by the 2nd morning on RoC and that 6 wyv creepjack with a lvl2 chain lightning+ lvl2 shockwave? UTTERLY DEVASTATING! almost gave you lvl5 on FS for invisible crit wolves. the only time you'd get stomp was if you were feeling Spicy and needed to stun heals like say, dk/fiends when they'd web and run then hero focus. but nothin WONS couldn't country. as well as war stomp. chain lightning split the invis crit wolves on a different fiend each while you focus the rest on a target. chainlighting/stun to prevent dk heal. you want to deal rapid successive dmg instead of giving them ttime to web > move > reposition > pick off wyvs > won your wolves > and hero focus using their mana on YOU and YOUR UNITS instead of trying to save THEIR FIENDS and heroes.
