How I bond my bunnies after a fight 🐰🍎

This is how I bond my bunnies after a fight. They were fighting over apple sticks the night before. Luckily it's not hard to bond these two.
Long story was, I heard some noises at 1 or 2 am. And I saw lots of fur on the ground when I entered the area. I was so sleepy, my instinct instinct was just separate them into different exercise pens and try to bond them after work tomorrow.

How do you make up your bunnies make up with each other after a fight? - 📝: They were just chasing each other in the middle of the night. There was lots of fur on the ground. Ellie did not sound happy. I was just too tired to do anything. My instinct just told me to separated them with exercise pens. And bond them after work the next day. No blood sheds, luckily. 🙏🏻 Some people might say let them figure it out themselves. That’s a lot easier said than done. You need to have the mentality to be able to witness that. And I’m honestly 我心血少，接受不了🙈

@@hollie1417 Look for the source that’s causing them to be uncomfortable and remove it. I usually do a deep clean at home and hold off all the toys/treats until I find the source. Sometime I switch out the rugs too. Since it prob has strong sense on there. I want the area to be as neutral as possible to be safe. 😞

I have only seen my 2 fighting when they were like 8 months old. They are siblings and i remember already when we bought them they ran around to try and catch each other. They are so adorable and they do nearly everything together. If they disagree on something they simply separate each other themselves and it's all good again.

It's not cute, it's not entertaining, it's stressful and hurts them, and the people doing it are ignorant and cruel. Don't get an animal if you can't be bothered to actually learn how it behaves from the reams of websites, books and forums out there, and don't get animals so you can play out a pathetic dress-up-doll version of shitty human parenting. i’m so glad you show this side of owning bunnies! i’ve had bunnies for the past ten years and fights between bonded rabbits are common but rarely discussed. i’m always really glad when people online mention some tougher aspects of bunny care, especially for viewers thinking of adopting a new rabbit. their cuteness can sometimes overshadow the fact that they can be troublemakers too! ❤️❤️❤️

My bunnos chase each other too, usually the older rabbit will do this to the younger one, with no apparent reason. BUT it never gets violent, when the older reach the younger he will then stare at me. It looks like they are playing tag, but the older rabbit is always the one who chase. This will usually last for a couple of seconds. There are even times that the younger rabbit will taunt the older to chase him and my older bunno will just stare at me, his like saying, "see its not always me" 😄 There are also times that they fight with food, usually with their apples (Although they have plenty). I just separate them when eating it happens. But its just sometimes, usually they eat together.

Love the car concept! Even the slippery surface one is great here. Placing animals on an unfamiliar turf before reintroducing to an established area has worked for me in many scenarios with different animals. Even chickens! It's about setting the scene back to a neutral ground. A lot of time the animal that exists is the space or who claims it becomes dominant, so shaking things up and changing scenery tends to level the playing field. Adorable lops! We just got into English spots ourselves!

I’ve done a lot of bonding sessions with different bunnies and a lot of people seem to stop the bonding session when they see agitation or irritability, and one of the bunnies and even after bonding. bunnies can get sick of each other. But the mistake people make is assuming it’s permanent and try to separate them permanently, when the answer is just give them time, they’re not gonna like each other all the time. However, I do find humor is a little dramatic happenings amongst a group of bunnies. It’s quite humorous, and to wonder what they are actually fighting over.😂

Don't follow this. Car bonding and slippery tiles are methods that force them to get along and do not allow them to build a healthy relationship. They are highly stressful and any form of stress can have a negative effect on their health and wellbeing.

We bonded our bunnies in a neutral space doing bunny dates with snacks and toys for them to interact.... hilariously they both like to chase our poor old cat around the house. They get along great now and don't fight until they get jealous of eachother when me or myself partner gives one of them attention then they try to push eachother out of the way cos they both want a pat and a snack too.
