Another ASMR Ross original. I put my daughter to sleep to these most nights or watch a how its made, and we do some white on white in acrylic on occasion. Wish I could afford real oil paints and paint thinner and all to get the layers to stick, but maybe down the road one day, would be fun

A big evergreen 🌲 with long arms and bright fluffy highlighted leaves with dooters & gobs of stones at the base where all kinds critters live & enjoy !! fyi he dedicated this 26 season to his wife at end. very touching & sweet.

I will always remember watching Bob Ross on PBS in the mid 80’s when I was home sick from school. Even back them his talking and painting would put me to sleep! I also remember Great Chefs of the World was on either before or after. PBS was on the ASMR tip waaaaaay before YouTune was even thought of!

I think I have seen all episodes at least twice, and I will watch them all again. Whenever I need inspiration to paint, I watch Bob and then I can't wait to get my equipment out and start paint painting. The man wasn't just born to paint, he was born to teach and inspire other people to paint ! He himself was inspired by another master painter, Bill Alexander. Bill passed "the mighty paintbrush" on to Bob, when he retired from his tv show, the magic of painting. Bob called his show the joy of painting. Bob went on to not only carry on where Alexander left off, but Bob perfected his own style and quickly became the famous and beloved painter of happy trees and happy mountains. Bob inspired millions of all ages to paint because of his love for the craft and eventually Bob came out with his own line of brushes and paints. He perfected everything that Bill Alexander had began before him

12:27 I would say one of the common keys to any good painting, either on a canvas, or a wall, wherever, would have to be an extremely wet surface. Yes I'm aware that he uses liquid white, Bob is who actually inspired me along with many others to start painting, but I can't stress the fact enough about having a wet surface, I MEAN LOOK AT IT, IT'S PRACTICALLY A MIRROR. There is nothing worse than not being able to blend.

What people dont know is he painted 3 of the same paintings during 1 show....1 before the show....the 1 during the show..and 1 after the show...you can sometimes catch him in the videos peaking with his eyes off to his right to look at the painting he did before the show so he doesnt screw up lol...still love him though hes fantastic
