I don’t remember which episode it’s in, but he mentions getting a letter from someone who would watch his show to sleep. So he was aware of that effect, and thought it was good. (By the way, I too watch Bob nearly every night before sleeping. Knocks me right out)

People who self harm should try a paint knife instead of a real knife. A tactic that generally works for people who cut is to draw on their skin instead of harming themselves. I believe it's because most of them do it to make marks on their skin, not neccesarily harm themselves.
