I’m not sure why but I can’t open it manually, I can only open it through me phone or the key, I can close it though, how do I open it?

odd, is it binding with the handle? the only thing I noticed was I think either I had it too tight or the wire was interfering with the shaft.

If you are watching this video BEFORE you purchase this lock, you're very lucky. Don't buy this lock!! If this seems complicated, know that it is far worse than it appears here. After watching multiple videos on programing these locks, and after reading the instructions many times, it still won't let me add an additional user. It's brutal to work with. Don't but Defiant. Buy anything else. I hate this lock. Completely sucks. I truly wouldn't take it if it was given to me. Furthermore, if someone gave it to me for free, and then paid me $20 to have it on my house, I'd still say no. It full-on sucks.
