just curious on your opinion. I noticed you used kanna, why don't you use japanese chisels as well?
@BobsWoodStuff Жыл бұрын
I use mostly Stanley hand planes, and my block plane is a kanna. I guess the main reason I don't use Japanese chisels is that I already had a full set of Western chisels, and didn't want to buy a whole new set.

Why did sharpen the secondary bevel to 35 degrees.
@BobsWoodStuff4 жыл бұрын
I always use 35 degrees for the secondary bevel on my chisels and hand plane blades. 27 or 28 is a popular angle, but I have always used 35 and it works well for me.

Anyone else buy a chisel that didn’t come at 25 degrees? I’m sharpening it on a jig at 25 degrees and the tip of the chisel isn’t sharpening
