I found your video when researching this saw since I found it at a great price (2/3 of the original price) but the feedback made me unsure about the purchase. Mostly people complain about the Fence and the Miter Guide, as well as the sliding table. Reviews say they are poor build quality and wobbely, resulting in non-square cuts. Is this something you experienced as well? If you have how have you delt with it? I also see in your video that the table is completely flat unlike the other videos I saw which had lots over groves in the table, I assume that might be the older version (with a plastic black plate). Seams like your saw is the same saw as what I am looking at since both have flat tables. Have you noticed any improvements in build quality from the older saw to the new one? Other then the black plate around the blade now being metal.

In all honesty I sold them. Yes they are wobbly and the fence is weak. For on site I prefer the smaller lighter evolution tools saws or some of the battery saws

@@bodgeitwithbrian what kind of work did you use them for? Did you find the pressision to be an issue?

Thank you for the video, but what is your reluctance to warranty claim. I would claim for every missing and broken item/part otherwise how is makita going to get their act together and sort it for future purchasers? Plus I want to receive in perfect condition EXACTLY what I paid for.

Thanks for the comment, mainly it's not a big deal for me and it will be more effort than replace item is worth to me. Quite often we end up customising and upgrading tools like this with aftermarket parts because they work better or fit our needs. For a tool of this size, I think there would be little chance we f getting it back in the box and returned just to have the next one have the same fault

@@bodgeitwithbrian Totally agree. But yes, Makita should take into account that for such a giant tool he must have a better package.

Does makita sell Table Saws anylonger (its 2024 and i have not seen any in the United States)
@Julkio818 ай бұрын
It is for sale in Europe. Might be a region restricted

Yes you can still get 240v and 110v site versions but I would guess a new 40v table saw could be on the way for small work

There are very bad feedbacks on the internet about this saw.

What are the main ones? I've had them for a while now so have some thoughts too
