So basically a wizard with the soul of a barbarian, and a wizard who's using wits to do some sick stuff. I had a player who played an 18 INT wizard and he often complained how hard it is to run a character who's much smarter than yourself.

@@maciejhammer2266 My group of friends we have a couple dedicated wizard/rogue/bard types, because we need to either be the DM, or be the character with 14+ intelligence so we can ask the DM smart questions and solve puzzles. It's hard playing a stupid character when you're too ADHD or too OCD to NOT SOLVE PUZZLE.

@@devilmikey00 I really hope that's the case, because that very annoying effect would have otherwise ruined a perfectly fine Dwarven Thrower. When they were describing adding a Polymorph effect onto the hammer, I immediately thought of the multiple times I have seen Polymorph make a fight drastically more annoying whenever it's been used by somebody who doesn't understand what it actually does. I've seen it actually be used as a handy offensive spell by turning a wimpy wizard who is otherwise out of spell slots into a powerful melee fighting monster, or for transport as a discount wildshape turning people into big animals, or as a 'I don't want to kill this guy, but I'd rather not have to deal with him' spell, where you turn a guy into a turtle and just walk away from him at a normal pace. Attaching that to your primary melee weapon and making the creature they turn into wholly random and uncontrollable was an idea I just instantly winced at. Especially because the one time it worked, it turned somebody into a freaking Great White Shark. Like yeah, okay, maybe it being on land made that less awful, but if it fully had the possibility to turn somebody into, say, a freaking T-Rex, then at that point his grandfather's hammer is honestly more of a liability and would ultimately force Bodger to abandon his ancestral weapon just so they wouldn't accidentally give somebody a fuckton of extra HP and potentially a more powerful form for a bit. It could have been a neat idea if it was a gimmick weapon he could pull out when he wanted it, but for the weapon you specifically are trying to kill things with, that's just a straight debuff that makes the hammer suck. It wouldn't have been such a big deal if they hadn't put that on his grandfather's hammer, which is already a souped-up Dwarven Thrower, but as it was, it just ruined a cool weapon.

After "autodisarm" command Bodger had to make second wisdom saving throw to clarify if he UNDERSTANDS what this command means. And actually failing means he does not understand and do not follow. Only if he passes second wisdom save he must comply.

Here's some clarification i think will help since warlock is my favorite class and i have been watching since episode one. :) Ben Has 3 Invocations he has been using: The first is devils sight allowing him to see through magical darkness, like you all said he has been using it most of the campaign. The second is "investing familiar" though im not sure ben or Rob really ever acknowledged it. Using a familiar to attack takes a attack action away from the warlock, but once you get the invocation you can make the familiar "wotsit" attack as a bonus action. They aswell gain Fly and swim speed and a reaction. the third and final was of course "repelling blast" giving the blast a 10FT push back per hit. Not 5ft. love your guys stuff! hope this helps!!!

FINALLY!!! I finally catched up all the episodes ! I began with episode 1 a few weeks ago and now I'm finally here. Thank you for all the fun you're giving me ! Love you all ! I have only one little complaint that is not very important: until some time ago, all the f*cks were replaced by a silence. Now there is a beep. Since the team says f*ck relatively often, the silences were much better to the ear. The beeps are so distracting! Besides that, I love everything, especially how Rob is mastering. And everyone is so fun ! You're succeeding something that is hard in my opinion ! Playing a really deep story with real stakes, seriousness, but at the same time making it light and fun. With the Command: autodisarm spell - do you feel that the target has to understand what the word means? The spell description says it has no effect "if it doesn't understand your language" which could be read two ways - i.e. your language could be Elven, common, Dwarven etc your language could be said to be the words you use.

Ben's Eldritch invocations are Armor of Shadows, meaning he can cast mage armor for no cost(it lasts 8 hours and you can effectively just say he boosts his AC by 5 permanently since he can cast it repeatedly at no cost) WHICH NOBODY EVER REMEMBERS!!!! and repelling blast.

Pretty sure due to the description of Aura of Purity and Suggestion (says creatures immune to charm can't be effected by Suggestion and Aura of Purity gives Advantage vs Saving Throws from being Charmed) that Greg should have had Advantage on that save. Sadly doesn't look like the same could be said about Command with Bodger.

In fairness to Rob (and in defence of all DMs everywhere), DMs have a LOT to keep track of during a fight as it is, so it would have had to have been Adam who was responsible for remembering the extra damage from his own attack. Rob told Adam who failed, so Adam would have had to remember to deal the damage.

Finally, after four weeks of pure bliss and joy of binge-watching the entire D&D series, right from episode one, I finally caught up to the lastest episode. I've always loved the Epic NPC man series, but watching D&D made me fall in love with the characters all over again. Each and every single one of them...Britt, Ellie, and Hamish included (special mention to Djeoph as well). The forgetfulness and rage of Bodger with the hammer that is rightfully his, the goofiness and the mental trauma of biiitchh, ahem, sorry, Greg, the exhaustive and foolproof plans that Baradun makes and the ever so increasing cockiness with his powers returning from lvl 1, the tank of the group and the most valiant bloodthirsty high-rolling fighter Ben, and last but not the least, the almighty ominpotent and the best storyteller ever, our DM Rob! Rob is the only person that can hold a dynamic and chaotic team like this together, and I'm loving every second of it. The only regret I've now is that I'll to wait like other (peasants) to watch the next episode. But seriously, the progress you guys have made over what was it like, 4 years or so which I condensed and saw through in 4 weeks made me realise how immense the growth was.
