The distraught family of knife victim Michael 'Mike' Riddiough-Allen who died outside a nightclub after being stabbed to death by Jake Hill in a night of frenzied rampage have spoken of their immense sense of loss and sadness. But they also talked about their hope and desire to make a difference in society.
Speaking outside Truro Crown Court today (Thursday, March 14), Mike's sister Becky Dustan read out a statement on behalf of all four families involved in the tragedy caused by what they said is a growing problem in Britain - knife crime.
In her statement, Ms Dustan said that not only had Mike's loved ones and friends been left devastated by the events of April 30 last year, but the families of the defendants - Jake Hill, Tia Taylor and Chelsea Powell - too.
