The message in this video is so important to hear. Appreciate the time you are in. My kids are young adults and I can't enjoy them like I want to because I am caring for an adult special needs brother with cancer and 2 elderly parents who I promised to keep in their home- one with dementia and basically bed bound. It is so hard and I am exhausted like I never was with little kids. I wish I had known life would go like this because I would've appreciated earlier times so much more. I know this time won't last forever either so I try to enjoy the few moments that are good. Just know that busy, messy times are tiring, but they truly are the best of it all. Especially if you are blessed to have a home, food and clothes for your family. 🥰

When the kids leave its so quiet. I couldnt handle it so my 2 girls bought 2 chiuahuas 1 for them and 1 for me. Didnt know small dogs can get pregnant sooner than big ones so mama had 6 babies and I kept them. Had them all spayed and neutered and it will never be quiet again. I Love it.

I’m a mum of 3 grown children and grandmother of 5 so believe me your decades and decades away from a quiet house and a peaceful cup of coffee 😂 every single day I see my kiddos and we eat dinner with some of our grandchildren most night and it’s still exhausting but I know I’m very blessed (I’ll believe it if I tell myself often enough 😂😂😂) my way of thinking is I didn’t have kids just to count the days for them to leave the house so we’re most definitely at different stages but you’ll get through it - us mothers always do ❤️

Starting 2024 with a stomach bug, yea lol. I'm watching you cleaning with Wolfgang helping you, its true everything they say. My one and only child is 25. Is my house always clean and tidy? Nope. But it is very quiet Christmas mornings. Your right, you do only remember the good things about them growing up and the things that drove you to almost insanity you laugh about because you survived. Happy new year, I'm going back to the gym too. I was a gym rat and spent 3hrs 7 days a week there until my cancer crap. So once this stomach bug is gone I'm giving this year to my health. Blessings for everything wonderful this year ❤.

Morning Kim, I'm laughing when you say how people miss the young years of motherhood. Yes its true, enjoy as much as you can while they are young, the years fly by. I am now a 63 year old grandmother with 3 grown kids and 11 beautiful grandchildren who I love dearly. I love when they visit and feel comfortable in my home ,I also love when they go home and I have peace and quiet and I can clean my house and it stays clean. I can also go to the shops and not spend 30 minutes getting kids in and out of the car. Being a grandmother is the reward of being a mother. ❤

You are a great mother of five plus a husband. Housework goes on and on. My children use to complain about house cleaning until they went to friends homes and would later thank me for a beautiful home. As far as decluttering my children would declutter during summer brake and in late November or December before Christmas every year. My husband and I are in our 60's and once everyone has left yes believe it or not sometimes I miss the chaos. We raised not only our children but one grandchild and took care of my father-in-law until he passed so had alot to do now it seems strange that I miss bringing useful. Once agin ENJOY THE CRAZINESS it'll be over soon enough.

So cute how Wolfgang asks to be nursed! My daughter did the same thing, but she'd stand in front of me w/a pitiful face, & do the hand-grabby thing to ask that I pick her up & hold her♡ It was usually when she was tired, & she'd take her nap shortly after. I remember & miss the days when she was still small enough to hold, whether on my hip or as she slept on my shoulder. Those are the precious things that stay in our memories, & make it all worthwhile:)

Here’s a tip per the cross wave. One morning woke up to a strange sound, thought it was my mouse mover, turns out it was a toilet in my hall bath. I’m a handicapped older single woman. I freaked out. Turned off water at toilet & thought to grab towels, mop to get up all the water in hall and bathroom - tile & luxury vinyl tile in hall. Well, the entry to one of my bedrooms is carpeted(my craft room held water). I realized my wet vac was hidden in the garage & not easily accessible, so I grabbed the cross wave. It did the job. Just kept passing & dumping the reservoir. Hope this tip helps if you are ever in That situation. Ordered the Blueland. The bundle option. Thanks, Kim. Hope I enjoy it.

Kim I hear ya on the dream house. We have more than outgrown our current home and property with 2 kids and my mother in law living with us and our homestead growing. I just recently found a beautiful home with the perfect property with the barns and pasture we are needing....but it is just barely more expensive than we can swing right now. I am praying daily that a miracle happens and we are able to put an offer on it. It has literally made me sick to my stomach thinking we won't be able to get it. In another year we could definitely get it but if it is bought by then it likely won't be for sale for another very long while. So...prayers a miracle happens or we find another that ticks as many boxes for our family and homestead as this one does.

By the way, I bought the Bisell Crosswave about a year and a half ago after hearing you rave about it. I absolutely love it! It picks up great and I always feel like the floors are super clean afterwards! 🎉 I have been using a thieves cleaner knock off in it with no adverse effects…yet. The frugal part of me refuses to spend so much on their cleaner. I’ll let you know in a few years if it’s still kicking! 😂😂 I will say, the only downside to the vacuum/mop is that you really need to take several components apart afterwards and clean it out. But if that’s what it takes to have clean floors, I guess I’m willing to do that. 😎

I literally slide both off the spring-loaded rod with the rings on and wash in warm wash-cold rinse with Arm & Hammer Oxi, Spray n Wash and sometimes vinegar. Promptly remove it and rehang to dry with both curtains inside the tub/ shower to avoid water dripping on floor.

My favorite perfume is Amargie by Givency. When I first spray it, it's a little overwhelming, but it settles down quickly, and when I go into my closet and pick out a shirt I wore before, that I sprayed that perfume on, I absolutely LOVE it! (Yes, I don't wash my clothes after wearing them once, unless I spill something on it, etc.) Once I found the perfume I love, I order it from a perfume outlet store, like Sentiments or perfumania, because it's usually half the price i'd pay at a $$$ department store! I often get compliments on my perfume, when I wear it!

They are amazing and easy. Life changer. lol I had to have the Christmas stuff put up almost immediately this year. I hurt my hip and I have been in the living room drowning in Christmas. I had them bring me all of the totes and then all of the stuff. I packed it all up (except the tree of course) from my thrown on the sofa. lol We will do this every year from now on. It was done in a little over an hour. Which is crazy because it took 3-4 hours to decorate everything. Crazy!! Ohhhh and we dust and vacuum everything as we go. The house looks great now. I'm soooo relieved.

My kids have left home now, for two years. I miss it at times. But, honestly, I love being an empty nester. lol. I totally remember cleaning with babies on your hip. Or, my last baby was always - “upy upy upy!” So nursing while cleaning. At least we can I always used to say. lol. I totally honour you. You are an awesome mom. And Alex, awesome dad.

Your home is beautiful! I’ve had two Bissell both last me just a year, I used and cleaned it daily. I’m obsessed with having clean floors daily lol.

Large family over here. I feel like a second set of machines would help me get more done quicker. Plus if a set broke it wouldnt be as big of issue with laundry piling up. I dont have space so not happening here, but can definitely understand the thought
