But madam why anti Rh is crossing the membrane during gestation period and not during parturition time for 2nd pregnancy?
@VivekSingh-dl8ly5 жыл бұрын
Because in 1st pregnancy the mother doesn't have any anti body. The other thing is that the placental barrier doesn't let antibodies cross it. But as ma'am repeatedly said while parturition the foetus blood causes synthesis of anti rh in mothers blood which is of type. And this type is very well capable of crossing placental barrier.
@nagachaitanya4995 жыл бұрын
@@VivekSingh-dl8ly That's what my doubt Is also...it must cross during parturition but it is crossing during gestation in 2nd pregnancy despite having antibodies of a and b...so there are antibodies a and b during 1st pregnancy which are of Ig G type

you are saying about placental barrier ,not mixing of blood takes place,then how the nutrition is transferred to foetus from mother's body,plz reply,waiting for your answer
@gauravpardhi90135 жыл бұрын
One of the placenta's jobs is to make sure blood from the mother and fetus never mixes. The placenta acts as an exchange surface between the mother and the fetus. Nutrients and oxygen are passed over by diffusion only. If the mother's and fetus's blood mixed, it could be deadly for both of them. If the mother and the fetus had different blood types, they might both die if their blood mixed.

Mam how the anti rh crosses the barrier during gestation as the anti a&b of O blood group cross only during parturition?
@kingbing33157 жыл бұрын
bro......nothing happens during the Gestation period..... the contact of blood of the foetus and mother will take place only during parturition as the placenta ruptures, this is the time when anti rh will flow in foetus blood....... and during the first delivery of baby in case of Rh incompatibility there is no harm of the baby.
@seyedibrahim78766 жыл бұрын
@@kingbing3315 but the baby undergoes jaundice and and anaemia
@kingbing33156 жыл бұрын
usually most of the babies gets jaundice after their birth, this is because the baby's liver is not enough mature to get rid of the bilirubin which their blood contains in excess :) this has got nothing to do with the RH incompatibility.

Because at first time antibodies was not made antibodies was produced in rh incompatibility during first delivery it was not present as we born it produced against rh positive factor

So it isn't natural no. It was induced when Rh antigens from foetus enters mother's body.
