I live in a quiet neighborhood, not much vehicle traffic. I always feel awkward when a car is passing as I walk my dog, like I'm self conscious about the look on my face. I wear sunglasses to mitigate but the sense of being uncomfortable is still there. It's just kind of weird and annoying. I like the tip about interlacing the hands when standing around, Mark...will definitely use that one!
