Having lived as a Buddhist monk for many years this rings true to me on so many levels. Most people have goodness inside of them, they've just gotten lost along the way. Very rarely did I meet people who didn't want to feel calm and happy and have integrity. Love this man ❤️

@Brian that unfortunately takes the average joe like 20 years of living in a cloud before they develop enough self awareness to ask such questions. And such programming of negative beliefs almost always stem from bad childhood experiences/faulty parenting, which adds another layer of denial.

This ties in with Eckart Tole's book The Power of Now and how our ego presents a past and future centric identity that is not who we are in the present and on the inside. The outcome of real choice is who we want to be

Everyone with comments saying how useful this is, and I am not trying to say this is bad or anything because I watched the whole interview and I thought it was really informative. But when you really boil it down, is this video actually that useful. He says first to identify who we are and want to be and then understand why we have low self esteem (for example overeating)... to me this is not revolutionary. If you apply this video, you may increase confidence a bit and sure it may help but I struggle to think people have not heard this before... I would not say it leads to unstoppable confidence or will have long-lasting impact. Just my opinion I don't want to sound like a Karen lol

@KingaGorski Жыл бұрын
4 of the most dangerous words: *“I already know that.”* Just because people have heard a piece of advice before, doesn’t mean they actively implement it. Common sense isn’t often common practice, and repetition is key for making anything stick. A lot of people are on the hunt for revolutionary advice, hacks, and tactics, and information they haven’t heard before… Yet they don’t do the basics and still wonder why nothing’s changed 🤷♀️
@rafaelag7967 Жыл бұрын
Everyone always says things we already know. The question is are we really putting it into action? Are we actually defining who we want to be or just throwing words that we think would make us happy?

Confidence is a personal sense of coping and having a good judgement of competency and potential. Arrogance is overrating yourself in comparison to others. Greed is something confident people can have, as can those who lack confidence.

I don’t understand it you are trying to get to the truth that wanting a teenager to lie can be part of that? Hopefully they might not be just be telling the full truth as part of their discovery? But becoming a ‘lier’ would be something to be concerned about.
